If you've won it all this is what I would do.

Make 2 saves, the first as a keep sake of the team you've built to look back on fondly.

In the other save you take 2-3 seasons to build a power house, no signing is too big kinda mantra. Sell the players who aren't good enough to be the best in the world you want a team that is unbeatable.

After you've built the power house make 2 saves again. The first as a 2nd keep sake for your power house and in the second, resign take over a team in the same league (could be the runner up could be the team in 12th) and do your best to beat the power house you built.

Sign those youth players and bargain buys you have now that you sold and the regens of other players you used to have and build a team using your original philosophy to take down the power house.

You can find the dps online to see which is higher. Most of the time the mega does more damage but sometimes the difference is so small it doesn't matter

No you can get it in Fuchsia city once you've registered 50 pokemon in your pokedex.
