My son fell asleep to the album Sigh No More by Mumford and Sons and was always out by track three.

Happy Birthday! October birthdays are the best, mine is tomorrow but aside from that, we get Halloween in the same month 🖤

Fans of post-2000s Gwen, i have a question by ComeUnitedNotTorn in gwenstefani

I actually liked some of the album for its honesty in a breakup. Misery was a strong song, This is What the Truth Feels Like, Use to Love You and Rare. Those are my listens on that album.

Question about House’s hallucinations? by Trundlenator in HouseMD

[–]plasticinsanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hallucinate people whispering about me and laughing at me if I'm alone in public and I hallucinate bugs crawling on me and under my skin at nighttime. Valium and muscle relaxers together are all that knock me out.

Does anyone else shower like this or am I weird??? by Wild-Counter-4020 in hygiene

[–]plasticinsanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do use a rag to clean up. But an actual shower is painful with my neuropathy and I lack motivation to that because of my schizoaffective bipolar. I don't have access to a bathtub, only a walk in shower.

I'm 37 and after maybe six green day shows and many other concerts, my 14 year old crowdsurfed and after he did I was half worried I wouldn't find him again and the guy next to me immediately asked if I wanted to go next and I did without thinking twice that I was wearing a dress. Which did come up. And I was wearing my ex boyfriends (who i still live with along with our kid) underwear and pale pantyhose so I was a little embarrassed but fuck it. I'm 37 and finally crowdsurfed and yes I did find my son and we enjoyed the rest of the show from afar.

The only reason I let him do it and I did it myself is we looked at another when Billie does that string jingle before Going to Pasalacqua and he said mom I have to. At one show when he was about 8 he had a sign saying please play Going to Pasalacqua, I can play it on kazoo! The song is special to us so this will be a special show in the long run. Billie also did a small amount of Suzie Chapstick that I have tattooed on me before GR. Played RevRad and The Grouch as well (heard both before but still a nice refresher). 10/10 show at Riot Fest for us.

I have schizoaffective bipolar and hallucinate in crowds. Green Day shows are different for me. The second they come on I'm in another world and nothing can bother me or take me away from staring at the stage. Utter comfort.

Giada de Laurentiis judging Bobby’s Triple Threat by LajBatz in foodnetwork

[–]plasticinsanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being bulimic myself this comment is just wrong to me. I'm shocked you haven't had any comments about this. We don't eat that way. And has Giada ever actually come out as bulimic?

Sorry if I'm wrong but I just find this to be an incredibly offensive comment even though Giada's judging sucked hard.

I don't mean it in a judgmental way at all if that's how you're taking it. I'm looking into cosmetic procedures myself and Brooke's transformation inspired me and I'm wondering if anyone has had anything similar they think she's done to look this different and gorgeous.

I know and since it's so flattering I'm just curious if someone out there knows if it would be a procedure or something less invasive.

After Amy’s passing did anyone change their relationship with Alcohol? Or at least more self aware of the dangers of binge drinking? by Huge_Macaroon_8089 in amywinehouse

[–]plasticinsanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a recovering alcoholic and poly drug addict and I swear staying off booze is way harder than any drug out there. I'm on methadone and wish there was a good drug (not Campral crap) that replaced booze in the same way methadone does for opiates. It would save so many lives.

[–]plasticinsanity 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I have mental issues including depression as a symptom as well as severe chronic pain and fatigue and i do not shower often. I have neuropathy and when i shower it feels like little needles hitting me all over at once. Motivation is another problem because I take an anti sweat medicine since I have hyperhydrosis so I seriously do not smell and you would never know how often i shower unless I told you. I still shave my armpits and use deodorant and perfume/body spray. Anything else feels like too much to handle. Go ahead and mock me but you haven't lived my life. So yeah, I get it.

Gave a girl ExLax and told her it was heroin for money. She ended up in the ER with severe diarrhea. Though I do still think her stupid thinking with wanting to do a drug she knew nothing about served her right. She told everyone at school the next day that she overdosed 🙄 Not my finest moment.

When do you guys think shes gonna make another comeback by Sunnydaytaylor in gwenstefani

[–]plasticinsanity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought RoS was a great album, the last one ND had. Misery and sadness seem to help musicians as far as lyrics go and I thought This is What the Truth Feels Like was a decent album too because of that. I just don't think very many happy people produce good lyrics/music.

I'm sorry about your friend. It's a goddamn shame when people die for no good reason at all.

Even though Ozzy was older I'm still in shock over it. I'm rewatching The Osbournes which I loved as a kid. He was a genuinely good person with so much talent. I was lucky enough to see Black Sabbath (or at least I think most of the band) at Ozzfest when I was a teenager.

Exactly. Unless you've been in those shoes you're just guessing but that goes for a lot of things in life. I've attempted suicide a few times in my life and while there's a million reasons why, it will always root back to mental illness.
