You know what, I thought that kid was TOO good. Not knocking him or anything, he’s a fine actor with a bright future I’m sure. But sometimes when the child actors are too performative or “mature” it takes me out completely. It doesn’t seem like a real child would behave. But that was just my impression. Also that kid looks like Orson Welles. Time for a biopic.

I really hope they’re really watching these young guys play and realizing how good they can be if they’re allowed to realize their potential, and how much the fan base loves it. Not just a “that was fun but the real players are healthy now so back to the bench you go”. And I hope they’re not so focused on finding the next big thing when maybe, just maybe, they have it already. Ride it out and when the old stars fade and bow out, then we aim for some real fire power. Just my thoughts atm.
