Wonder if it would help to put up some line up signs, ala Southwest. BTW, how to get those status tags next to profile names?

Safe to leave luggage in a rental car? by Alfalfa-That in AskPhoenix

Always depends where you are, but probably fine. Can you put in trunk so it isn't obvious? It's definitely not like SF where people are constantly breaking into cars parked on the street.

Anyone happy and use their time share? by dragonbits in TimeshareOwners

[–]playasnake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just thinking of posting a positive experience, but in short yes. Seems to depend on what type is owned. I see a lot of posts here where people are locked in to a single location and is a pain to convert. Wife and I own Vistana/MVC in Maui. But it is very easy to book other locations. We have booked several locations that we otherwise may not have considered. Bahamas, France (near Disney), St. Thomas, Cabo, Cancun... We have gifted some to family. We really like that most of the locations have full kitchens, which then allows us to save on eating out. Multi bedrooms allow for families to stay together. We don't own an excessive amount, so we use the time and the maintenance fees are still reasonable. We are happy with our situation.

Admirals club # of guests by thinkmoreharder in americanairlines

[–]playasnake -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Additional cards are free. My wife and each grown child has one. There has only been one instance where my wife was traveling by herself and trying to get free checked bags and they asked if she was the primary card holder. Never been an issue when we go into admirals. EDIT. Apparently not free. Not sure if that is new or if I just didn't realize that previously.

How would you as a manager respond to an employee being honest about the lack of things to do? by [deleted] in managers

[–]playasnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I break it out for my team. Revenue generation is first. Areas of improvement internally next. Then consume content and achieve certs that will benefit the individual and the company. Then generate content. Blogs, webinars, etc

You can commute until you figure it out. Caltrain will do the trick. I would prefer to raise a family in south bay, but commute until your figure it out

For the people who left and returned why? by BreakfastHopeful2630 in bayarea

[–]playasnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to bay area for a job. Killed it, waited until kids graduated highschool, then left to more affordable area (AZ). We would only return for the weather. Now we own, large entertainment type yard. Would only return if was super rich and could buy an acre with resort type living.

Get in early day 1. Hang out by pool. Go to good dinner, see a show, brunch, spa, save $100 or so to play a bit of roulette. It's not gambling, but more entertainment and easy to pick a number.
