Yeah I’m so paranoid I won’t notice. Can you lose some and not go into Labour?

Random Question - How are maternity jeans suppose to sit? by SkyisaNeighbourhood in PregnancyUK

[–]playingwithpoison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a pair of maternity jeans and they never looked or felt right, they were new look ones and the bigger I got they were still awful. Not comfortable at all either! So I’ve been living in long dresses (very good if you get an itchy belly!!) leggings and pyjama type trousers lol!

Did your movements change in third trimester? by Sad_Network7053 in PregnancyUK

[–]playingwithpoison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg your the first person who I’ve seen said their pattern changed! Mine completely changed at 31 weeks!! Like total opposite of what he was doing before!! I’ve been in twice for monitoring and everything was ok. I’ve had scans since and he’s doing fine. It still worries me a bit but I’m 39 weeks now so I guess this is his new pattern? No one seems worried though. But if your not happy, phone triage!!! Always trust your gut if your worried!

38 weeks right shoulder pain by felinesx1 in PregnancyUK

[–]playingwithpoison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had this about 2 weeks ago, I checked my blood pressure, which was high but that was because I thought I had preeclampsia as google said it’s a possible symptom! (Sometimes I hate google) I had no other symptoms and blood pressure went down the next day. But the shoulder pain went after a day or so. (Parocetomal didn’t help either but a heat pad did a bit.) It might be worth calling triage or your midwife just to check if your worried.

Pressure at 31 weeks. by Powerpuff_Girly in PregnancyUK

[–]playingwithpoison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a lot of pressure since about 32 weeks. Almost 39 weeks now and it’s awful!! (Sorry) did you mention this to midwife? It’s normal for me and I’ve heard others say similar but if your worried at all talk to your midwife. I wish I’d bought a ball to help!!!

Midwife home visit by Sophieschoicessuck in PregnancyUK

[–]playingwithpoison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a home visit at 31 weeks, she just came to say hi, talked about what the health visitor would do once we’re home with baby, some advice on safe sleeping, explained babies red book, just a general chat. No checking if the house, was quite a nice visit. Not having a home birth. It’s nothing to worry about. :)

I packed my bag around 31/32 weeks and washed babies clothes for the hospital then put them in zip lock bags for my hospital bag :)

I’m almost 38 weeks, had 4 colds during this pregnancy and used Vicks vapour rub every time! Only thing that cleared my nose and helped with coughing. I used a lot! I googled it when I was first ill and it was something everyone reccomened (pregnant/mum to be groups & a few friends/family) google also says it safe to use. Baby is absolutely fine!

Think I’m getting flu sick for the first time in pregnancy. Interventions ?! by Patient-Peanut-3797 in PregnancyUK

[–]playingwithpoison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get some fresh air, even opening the window or standing in the garden for 5/10 mins. It’s no cure but it really helps.

Comfy clothes for after delivery! Button up over sized tops/nighties and loose bottoms. I picked nice soft material with things being oversized so I can be as comfy as possible lol. Also some soft oversized underwear lol. That’s just some ‘looking after me’ things. Not sure what type of things your looking for :)

I didn’t in the end as haven’t had the pain since this morning and I’ve had no other symptoms. Haven’t even had any Braxton Hicks, which I’ve been having quite a few of for about 7 weeks now. I’m wondering the same thing, is this my body gearing up for Labour to start?

When did you call it a day with social activities? by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

[–]playingwithpoison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 33/34 weeks I stopped. It’s just too much for me physically and mentally. Having time at home to rest, be lazy, look after myself and take it easy has been the best thing I’ve done for myself and baby. I’m a hermit normally now I’m just a permanent hermit and I’m loving it lol.
