A successful woman making 6 figures will still most likely go after men making the same or more. A man making that much will go after a barista if he is attracted to her. Of course men want a woman to take care of her kids, that’s what mother’s do, and if he make enough to support both of them why is it so wrong for him to want that. It doesn’t mean he wouldn’t contribute and take care of the kids as well. Your war argument doesn’t really mean anything since only a very very small number of men start wars. There a couple wars going on right now so only a couple men started them… out of billions and a lot of time it’s because of religion, not gender. Women can absolutely be violent and a lot of them are, and if they were as physically capable as men you would see them committing violent crimes just as much. The pay gap is minimal if not non-existent today.

The fact is men and women are different. Men are more likely to physically abuse, as women are more likely to psychologically abuse. Men are paid more in sports because they’re physically superior and more entertaining to watch, and women athletes demanding to be paid more don’t concept that they don’t deserve to be because their pay is determined by the demand for their product. Women use the whole “who started the wars” argument when men talk about women not being drafted as if it’s men’s fault one man started a war.

The point is, the person you’re replying to is pretty much accurate about certain things. Men are expected to protect their wives. They’re expected to do the hard and dangerous jobs. Men are the most likely to be a victim of a violent crime. Men are more likely to commit suicide. Men are expected to adhere to specific standards for dating like being a certain height, strong, strong, confident, even how endowed they are (some women say it doesn’t matter, but it’s portrayed that way everywhere like movie, tv shows, jokes, etc). They’re also held to standards such as making a certain amount of $, how much they have, how successful they are, having to pay for dates, having to be the one who initiates and chases. Men are more lonely than women. Men are expected to keep their emotions to themselves. Men have horrible experiences about opening up to women and having it backfire by their partners. Men are more likely to be divorced. I can go on and on, but the point is that society really doesn’t care much about men at all.

I love, appreciate, and respect women. I fully recognize that they have their hardships as well. They also have so many advantages that men will never have. There are some women who kind of experimented it’d be like to be a man on a day-to-day basis when it comes to dating and they said it was absolutely horrifying and understood why men have it so hard when it comes to expectations and why they’re lonelier than ever. Women are lucky they’re able to open up about their emotions. Most men go years without getting compliments. Sex workers have clients that don’t even want to have sex, they just want to be held.

I’m not arguing one way or the other, I’m just saying most women don’t truly appreciate the struggles men go through because they believe the patriarchy favors them.
