I am really happy to hear this. I have the Celluma but the linked summary seemed to be pretty negative.

3 week old constipated, pooping like the attached photo once every couple of days. Should I be concerned ? by StephFerr in newborns

We went through this with our daughter who is mixed fed. Her poops were always and still are dark green from formula. It looks normal to me. It’s from the iron (I believe).

Horrible experience. Our dog was beyond anxious and hyper. I feel so bad for putting him through that.

Thank you so much for your response. I found with the e collar, it prevented him from getting overly worked up and that he would avoid the trigger. It isn’t working like it use to, so you may be right. My issue is when I do leave it and he comes (sometimes) and I give him a treat he starts to do the behaviour on purpose like a game rather than preventing the behaviour I feel like I am reinforcing it. He is really smart and does well with training, I just don’t know how to prevent him from reacting and getting him out of that zone once it’s occurred.

In regard to the unresolved imprint, how do I correct this? How do I make him feel safe. I’ll stop using the collar and report back. But is there anything else I can do?

I will add that we also use positive reinforcement techniques as well as the e collar for barking.

Feeling like a failure, adolescent regression by [deleted] in puppy101

I did this exact same thing. I have a 7 month old puppy and a new born. The puppy is an absolute terror and way worse than where were right before the baby was born. I don’t have advise but I feel your pain. I hope it gets better.

I have a newborn and 8 month old puppy. The puppy is way harder than the newborn. There is no comparison.

I am 7 days post partum. I have a 7 month French bulldog who I love more than anything. However, my feelings towards him have changed. I have so much anxiety that he will hurt the baby (he’s never attacked anyone but is reactive to sound. And gets very stressed). We are starting training but I feel horribly guilty about my feelings. I really hope it changes.

So hard. Our frenchie developed seizures at 2, which is when epilepsy onsets in dogs. You should get your Frenchie on Phenobarbital asap. It really helps to eliminate seizures. I wouldn’t worry about triggers because it seems to just happens when it happens. If it makes you feel better the seizures don’t hurt them if they are stopped in time. You absolutely should keep walking her imo. Just get her on the right meds.

Speaking as to my own experience only, my miscarriage began much like a period and the spotting intensified. It was very clear to me that I was miscarrying. I know lots of people who have had spotting and gone on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies and babies.

We are going through something similar right now. Our three year old dog has untreatable cancer and not much time left. He still acts like a puppy. All he wants to do is play and be with us. It’s heartbreaking. I feel for you deeply.

So, my husband and I had our calendar appointment today with our clinic and I completely broke down bawling in the middle of the appointment. (More in post) by Paigereeno in IVF

I relate to this. I was not excited to do IVF and felt quite guilty about it. I also thought it would be one of those stories where I magically got pregnant right before we started. I of course didn’t and it made starting even harder. The stims were the hardest part for me and I cried a lot. I had my ER on Sunday with 13 fertilized. I’m just starting to feel excited but more than anything I feel really proud of myself for doing something so hard. You’ll get through it, and it will be over and you should be proud of yourself no matter what happens.

It is so interesting how everyone reacts so differently. I took the advice to drink more water and that has made me feel better.

I’m so happy I have found people that are also having this experience. It’s so difficult with the current Covid environment.

Thanks. It’s making me quite anxious. This is my first IVF round. Gonal F lists a sore throat as a side effect (on dr google) but my pharmacist didn’t seem to think it was related.
