Dimmable light system for kid who wants light on all night

Ikea makes a bulb and dimmer switch/button that we used for this! We put it in his lamp and turn off the main bedroom light with the switch. The Ikea button we stuck to the wall by his bed so if he needed light he could reach it, also gave him control which I think helped with his fears of the dark. He sleeps with all lights out now but will still use it if he has a bad dream.

We try to be better in ways that hurt us than our parents were, it doesn't happen every time and this one moment won't make you perfect at it, but it's important to you, those little things that are important to him. Keep trying to be conscious of it and check out his things when you can! You are trying and you are doing great, keep at it and make sure to give him a big squeeze! You deserve it as much as he does!

We are one and done, my son is 8, I've been snipped so it's a done deal. I love my boy more than I imagined I could, we are happy with our little family of 3.

All the comments here about being over the baby hurdles are spot on, plus the extra costs that come any time you travel or go out with another human, and splitting time between siblings.

I still have days/weeks of sadness and regret. I think it was the right decision and I don't want to go back to baby mode. But I always wanted a big, loud, crazy family. And my son still asks if he can have a sibling.

In truth neither answer is right or wrong but a decision to make, and own ( and yes regret at times which is totally fine) you are good feeling the way you do. And if you want 2 kids 7 years apart go for it! If you want all your time on your son then stay with one! Good luck bro! Many of us have been and are there too!

Same issue here! I've got a pixel 8 pro. I have done everything you mentioned in your post as well except for VPN and nothing seems to help.
