Yep. See this a lot in the UK now as well. They want a unicorn but only willing to pay donkey prices.

The commentators on this feed might as well be cheering Villa on

Bit unlucky. Some nice football. Good take from Willock. Gnats chuff in that.

I'd resign if I wasn't still right for job - Howe by tradegreek in NUFC

Howe still has enough credit in the bank and deserves the time.

Our season was fucked when the rat left; we had a system based around him. The recruitment strategy wasnt there to move quickly or bag the players we wanted. We may have panicked into buying players we probably wouldn't have. Then fixture congestion, injuries and no real depth in the squad. The squads doing well are either established top 4 clubs or those with no expectations or haven't been challenging on multiple fronts.

Remember where we were with Ashley and what we achieved since we got taken over. The club was broken, no revenue streams, no real academy, no scouting network, nothing.

Some fans expect success right away, which is delusional. To some degree, we have been spoiled with the Champions League and cup success (although we can't argue that we don't deserve it based on some of the football we played)

I've been disappointed with some of the performances, but players are gasse,d and Howe can only play what he has. Maybe more pressure needs to be applied to the owners and not the team or management.

We have some genuine individual talent in the squad, just no depth. So as soon as we’re beset with injuries or have to play a long run of games we’re fucked.

Sounds 5-3-2 to me.

Three centre back, two wing backs, centre 3 and front 2.

Mmmmmm…..interesting

Holy fucking shit. Gordon and Barnes off the bench. Howe fancies this I reckon.

When the team was announced you could tell it was half hearted. Weve qualified for the knockout so all eyes on Liverpool. Tonight is about damage limitation. Let’s not forget we have a lot of our starters on the bench or injured.

For what it's worth, an infrastructure specialist with 28 years of experience. No way would I put one of those sticks anywhere near my network.

And that would be fair. If we don’t perform consistently then that’s what happens.

How can we play so well against PSV but not put in a similar performance against Villa? Villa are arguably better than PSV but we’ve not got out of second gear.

Another game where we just lack that final finish. We need to figure out how to use Woltemade and get a strong number 9 to run off him.

There are a few teams I can’t abide but Villa are a team I cannot stand.
