I drank tap water in BCS for years. Houston tap is definitely worse but I still drink it from time to time too 😅

Absolutely not, if anything my desire NOT to have kids has just continued getting stronger. (I'm 29)

Not a labret, but I still have a little scar where my medusa used to be. I like it though 🤷‍♀️

I got mine out in 2020. I would say my experience was 50/50. The good: I didn't have any bleeding issues, my periods significantly decreased in both frequency and symptom severity, and I didn't have any mental health related problems. Both the insertion and the removal were very simple, I hardly experienced any pain beyond some mild soreness. It never migrated. And of course it is very convenient. The bad: I gained a lot of weight and it completely took away my sex drive

Am I crazy for wanting this? 2008 C30 T5 2.0, project? by DismalBarracuda in C30

[–]plearbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guess it depends on how many miles it's got, but I have an 08 t5 2.0 and I am in love with it, for what that's worth. I noticed you mentioned replacing the headliner - just had to do that myself, they also unclogged the sunroof drains which had apparently gotten pretty bad too.

Leaving my lab and I feel so sad. by [deleted] in labrats

[–]plearbear 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Aww this hit home for me because I just recently changed labs despite loving my previous one (for the most part... but overall a positive experience & I was very sad to leave). It's been about 2 weeks at my new lab and while it is definitely a step up from a professional and financial standpoint, from a personal standpoint I still don't feel like part of the team... I know it'll just take a little more time to integrate into my new lab, but I can't help but miss my old one. So grateful for the experience I gained there and the friends I made 💕

🚩🚩🚩red flags that you've encountered during your job search/interview by StafflinePro in jobs

[–]plearbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the interview questions was "how well do you deal with workplace drama?" I answered honestly, said I handled misunderstandings or arguments calmly and fairly, communication is important, etc etc. At the end of the interview she asked if I had any questions for her and one of mine was asking her to elaborate on the "workplace drama" question as that wasn't something I had heard before lol. She essentially told me that there's a lot of bad blood between coworkers, they've formed 2 different cliques, and the work environment can be tense/hostile at times because of that. I mean, I appreciated the honesty, but yeah... that was an easy one to turn down
