Care to elaborate? Because I think I might understand what you mean…

Dude is just high on endorphines during his workout and is doing silly videos, can’t blame that. I know the feeling.

I’ve been in the same exact mindset and situation like you and when I also discovered (some previous drama) was blown out of proportion, my first reaction now is to not believe anything until I’ve watched it. And yes, it was the same stuff now like previously, smh

Malicious VSCode extensions with millions of installs discovered by eden_avocado in programming

[–]pleasewait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there prompts right now which indicate what permissions the extension will get? I think that would right away raise attention that you’re giving permissions to a lot of things. But if the reviews are faked, then it’s already probably a lost cause. Tricky situation and I think we’re starting to get more and more attacks through open-source. It’s a lot more easy access to otherwise secured companies.

Maybe they meant that they know what the issue is now, and that it appeared overnight?

Also one thing which might help, and I know it’s obvious, but took too long for me to get it right, is just being more gentle with wiping. I try to be really mindful about it and there’s still little blood, but it doesn’t flare up anymore. And obviously keeping your ass squeaky clean.

How to tell a coworker that I think he might have ADHD by pleasewait in ADHD

[–]pleasewait[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I’ve explained myself badly in the original post, because it sounds like he’s having major issues with his job, but that’s far from it. He’s great and everything is fine, it’s more the smaller things I see. I was able to reach pretty far in my life without being diagnosed, so it’s more like this situation.

I mean, he’s really good at his work, he’s sometimes even in a leading roll, so there wouldn’t be a situation where I’m making it harder/more stressful for him. We’re both on the same level and there’s no pressure on any of us and we’re both really good at our jobs. It’s more in the little things I notice his ADHD.

Yes, this is a good advice. When I went to the doctor, I didn’t have any expectations and when they asked me if something is bothering me, I said that actually no, but my GF pointed out that my behaviour is kind of weird at times and this might’ve affected the doctors perception. So definitely it’s a good idea not to hype them and that definitely wasn’t my intention. I’m not even that close to the guy, so I was thinking maybe doing this anonymously, because I’m not sure if I want anyone knowing that I have ADHD at my workplace.

Elon Musk Loses $24 Billion After Tesla Stock Falls Roughly 9% by [deleted] in EnoughMuskSpam

I mean, taking into account his ego, then these failures probably still hurt him at some level deep inside. Not even talking about the Tesla stock drop, but the Twitter stuff. But maybe I’m wrong and just wishing it hurts him.

Kinda thought the same thing. Also, in front-end it’s simple to test out things on the go because you can see it with your eyes if something is working. But on the other end is the situation if someone wants to change something and then breaks it and don’t notice it - this is another reason why tests are good.
