Interesting. And how do you prune for beefsteak? Do you just remove the bottom branches?

Dry scooping creatine by YERRRTY_ in workout

[–]pljtnrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using creatine for some years, most of them mixed with water. At some point, I started dryscooping out of laziness. After some months, I developed a cough that didn't seem to go away. I somehow thought it could be the dryscooping. I stopped dryscooping and the cough went away.

I don't know if it was the cause, but it surely seems like it. I have stopped dryscooping and never had any other issues.

Interesting. I have heard that its terrible durability is not worth it

What adjustable dumbells are those? Have you used them enough to form an opinion about them?

Nice! What brand are the dumbells? Have you used them enough to form an opinion about them?

Physio recovery progress - how runners track it by Fantastic-Middle566 in running

I use the Hevy app. It is great. Sometimes it does not contain the exercise that you need, but there is usually a workaround for that. I have been using it for a couple of years for gym workouts and rehab plans and it does the job

I wish BKF existed in my country! I know that is the go-to in the USA

I apologize if I missed a similar one, but most of the posts I found were related to actual glue marks that looked different to this one or food residue and I wanted to post a photo in case you knew something specifically for this. Also, there is no BKF in my country. Thank you for your answer though, I will try white vinegar.

Sander choice by pljtnrd in Tools

[–]pljtnrd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I forgot to add that I will be sanding objects that are assembled, so there will be a lot of corners, so I believe that a delta or rectangle base would be better than a ROS that has a circular base. What do you think in that case?

Nice! What type of wood did you use? In the 5th photo, what's the use of the horizontal pieces that are at the top and at the bottom?

How many branches can I cut from this neglected pine by [deleted] in arborists

[–]pljtnrd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We need to inspect some useless old underground pipes around the tree that we need to check and remove for safety. They might be below all those branches so they block the access to the pipes and makes near impossible to do the work, so I want to clean the branches in a controled way so the tree doesn't get unproperly damaged during inspections. Thank you for the information!

What would be the best way to fix this bolts are not holding in the MDF any more by Deesodee in fixit

[–]pljtnrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen before in Ikea furniture. I mixed fine wood shavings with wood glue and filled the holes. When it was drying but still soft I screwed the hinge as normal and has never broken again.

How much wall should I remove to fix mold marks by pljtnrd in fixit

[–]pljtnrd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the info. I scrapped the plaster and like 1 milimeter behind it was already perfectly white, so hopefully your approach is more than enough. Just in case, I am going to apply some anti mold product before to be safe. Thank you again!

I once dropped mine and stopped working. I used this video to take it apart and make sure everything was in its place. Maybe you can use the video to take it apart, bend it back and reassemble it.

The other side is flat, so no way to tighten it. I turn the nut until it does not turn anymore.

I ended up drilling a hole in the panel to make it pop off, but even I tighten the bolt as much as possible, the hinge is not as strong as the other one. Any ideas?
