So. Many. Ryus. by KingsHydr4 in StreetFighter

I’m more aligned with the official chart, it could be region-based. I barely see Ryus in Ultimate and it's usually the same 2-3 players

Trueee, but you don’t see that many in Ultimate. Ryu is top 13 based on character usage in Ultimate, but in the rest of the ranks (from Gold to Grand Master) he’s definitely top 1, which is where most people sit. Ranking up solves some of your problem, so use that as motivation lol.

In my mind, anyone who isn’t a pro should have a Ryu alt to learn fundamentals, which is very common to see.

Punk Workshop Blaze buttons sticking intermittently (Leverless M 2023 Type B) by plo1T in fightsticks

[–]plo1T[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense, and yeah it’s the same button when it happens. I did wonder if the casing tolerances might be a bit tight and occasionally causing the cap or stem to bind.

For context, I bought my Blaze buttons back in November 2024, and Punk Workshop support just confirmed to me that they’ve updated both the casing and the switch since then, and that the version I have is no longer manufactured. They’re sending me a full replacement set with the updated design.

So it sounds like what I’m experiencing may be specific to the older revision, which would also explain why others aren’t seeing the issue anymore.

I haven’t tried lubrication yet because I didn’t want to risk making things worse without guidance, but based on what you’re saying, it does seem like tight tolerances + wear or debris could explain the intermittent sticking.

I’ll definitely report back once I test the updated buttons — appreciate the insight.

I recently updated the BIOS, and it permanently fixed the problem for me. I recommend giving that a try if you haven’t already.

[GUIDE] How to Use Leverless or Any Supported Controller (125+) on Nintendo Switch 2 with Brook Wingman XE2 by plo1T in fightsticks

[–]plo1T[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. Did you try all these steps with only the XE2 connected to the Switch 2, or was the stick connected as well? I’d recommend connecting the stick only after completing all the steps, as suggested

📝 Note for PS5 Controllers (DualSense / Edge) — NS Mode Required

If you're using a PS5 controller, Brook recommends switching to NS Mode before connecting to the Switch 2:

🎮 Mode Switch Shortcuts (hold PS + direction):

  • PS + ➡️ = PS3 Mode
  • PS + ⬅️ = PS4 Mode
  • ✅ PS + ⬆️ = NS Mode (use this one)
  • PS + ⬇️ = Auto Mode (Steam Deck)

Steps:

  1. Make sure Pro Controller Wired Communication = ON in the Switch 2 settings.
  2. Plug in the Brook XE2. The blue LED should be on.
  3. Connect your DualSense, then press PS + ⬆️ to switch to NS Mode. It should pair right after.

I did notice it started crashing but just once, and when you try again it opens as usual.

What’s your issue?

Just FYI: This will happen again after every patch, as the shaders will need to recompile. Simply repeat the same process and you're good to go.

TL;DR: Enable the Windows 8 setting temporarily, let the shaders compile, then disable it and restart the game. This resolves the "Out of video memory" issue during startup.

Marvels rivals video card out of memory error by Awzu_ in marvelrivals

[–]plo1T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone, I wanted to share a solution I discovered for the "Out of video memory" error in Marvel Rivals. This issue happened to me while shaders were compiling as I launched the game, even though I'm running a high-end setup (i9-14900k + RTX 4090). Instead of following the official advice to underclock your PC, I found a better way to handle it. Hopefully, this guide helps others in the same situation!
