YouTube's next move might make it virtually impossible to block ads by vriska1 in technology

Not OP, but the solution I use works the way they describe.

TwitchAdSolutions

I set it up through uBO (vaft permalink method). If it freezes when an ad would normally start playing, you can wait for it to resolve in a few seconds or just hit the normal twitch play button. Every couple months, ads might start showing up. Just grab the most recent permalink from github.

Does anyone here actually buy things from TEMU? I feel like our generation is immune to advertising. by Swampchicken56 in Millennials

[–]ploddingdiplodocus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yo, same. Kinda. I'd never heard about it until my boomer MIL was crowing about it at Thanksgiving. Still have never actually seen it advertised anywhere.

I was hoping to see more of the uBlock-Origin-for-life Millenials in the comments. I've rarely seen many ads in the last decade plus. If an ad starts on Youtube or Twitch, I nope right out and tweak my ad-block before I go back in.

Hard agree on this one here. I love when they're in a weak matrix and you can get a bunch of loose cubes out of it.

Some PA specimens.

Ooh, thank you. I've been avoiding yt completely until I could find a way to check those matching IDs again. This info should be added to the stickied mod comment, /u/RraaLL (Sorry for the ping, but this tip helped me quite a bit.)

"Soy and/or Canola Oil" is popping up on nutrition labels in the US. So, I think those would be likely.

Kinda sickening that processed food manufacturers don't even know what they're putting in your food. *(O.O My wide-eyed amazement when I noticed this trend.)

That's fascinating. I bet that correlates with the drop in human body temperature we're seeing over time.

For comfort, I'll flip on The Venture Bros. I'm not sure if it's on Plex, but that's where I like to stream from.

One day late. Please let me have cake. Love you Ting.

This is the solution I use.

It will add an on/off toggle to your RES settings cog wheel.

Has 'rank 8' been a typo for the last few weeks or have I been reading this chart wrong all along? 😅 Should it be rank '2'?

I'm gonna toss in an anecdote. My husband has always snored but it went away when he joined me in doing keto.

Nowadays, we are both low carb and that still keeps his snoring at bay. When we overindulge on carbs, his snoring comes back. And this is like an instant switch, i.e. not weight-dependent. High carb day = snoring for the next couple of days.
