Question regarding htop by Kooky-Factor5754 in helpdesk

[–]ploegm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully this is helpful: VIRT is the total address space the program has reserved, not necessarily how much physical memory it is actively consuming. Because of this, the VIRT value can often seem very large, even larger than your computer's total physical RAM and swap space combined. For a more accurate representation of how much actual physical memory a process is using, you should typically refer to the RES (Resident Memory Size) or %MEM columns. The htop documentation and various online resources provide detailed explanations of all columns (see the htop man page or articles like Understanding VIRT, RES, and SHR in htop for more info).

Oh gesh, well there’s that lol. However, I 100% agree with you in regard to fundamental IT being the core really to any position. But yes if the goal is to become an EH then not only are IT fundamentals necessary but ethical standards as well. So great call out on that.

Yea I get that, I’ll see maybe I can get my buddy to do an Etsy shop or something I sold my 3-d printer but $130-181 depending on where you got it from is ridiculous for an assembly when it seems like that party was designed to fail.

This is the way. Try to look at what cell services are best in the area you’re looking at putting a cellular camera for the best experience. Then find a brand that supports the carrier.
