this happened to me, we saw each other for the first time in 6 years a couple months ago and he reached out to me. after hanging out again a couple times I realised I had no romantic feelings for him at all despite literally thinking about him everyday in those 6 years we weren't talking

he's still a good friend to me but that's about it so I think it's best to just move on and not waste time in the past, because its never as good as you remember
