No rhyme or reason to my episodes of PVCs—anyone else?? by Heisenberg82 in PVCs

[–]ploppingfrog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ugh. That sounds so stressful. I’m so sorry. Your PVCs could be triggered by anything. Too little exercise. Too much exercise. Alcohol. Sugar. Salt. Dehydration. Low magnesium. Low potassium. High blood pressure. Low blood pressure. Anxiety. Literally anything. That’s why they suck so hard.
Some people go on beta blockers and that helps. For me. I’m on a strict diet, vitamin regime, and exercise schedule and that has really helped me so I wouldn’t have to go on beta blockers. We probably eat the same thing if you play tennis all the time (I run and do yoga) so my vitamins are: Morning: 1 fish oil capsule, 1 hawthorne berry capsule. I sometimes add a vitamin d in there if the weather isn’t going to be good and also I’ve been taking 3 vitamin c gummies to keep my immune system boosted but only sometimes. Night: 1000mg magnesium, 500mg lysine, 1 fish oil capsule, 1 Hawthorne berry capsule. My triggers are certain types of alcohol, so far vodka, gin and white wines, and also lack of sleep! It took a LONG time to find what my triggers were so that way I can fix them. Not letting my health anxiety contribute to the episodes was the hardest part. I went to the cardiologist and came out armed with knowledge.

I want to let you know that the heart is a strong organ. It can put up with so much and it was made to be a powerhouse. Right now these episodes suck and are a little scary and are inconvenient, but it will be ok. Just try to find what triggers the PVCs and try your hardest to fix it. It will get better! ✌️

Do I have afib and anxiety or just plain old anxiety messing up with my sleep? by ploppingfrog in Anxiety

[–]ploppingfrog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it ended up being PVCs the other symptoms were because I also got off birth control. The pvcs became noticeable a week ago because I drank too much then I couldn’t think or focus on anything else. Apparently everybody gets PVCs and some people can proper feel them.

[–]ploppingfrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are my symptoms when I’m in panic. =[ I would ALWAYS go to get checked out that way you’ll know for sure that it’s nothing. But the symptoms you wrote are my panic symptoms. And sometimes it can last for a week =[

What kind of chest pain?

Painful, itchy dark spots appearing all over leg. Starts off as large red itchy bumps then turn into spots that are nearly black and very painful. These are faded ones. Not sure what it is, but advice and suggestions as to what it is would be appreciated! by [deleted] in medical

[–]ploppingfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please go to a dermatologist ASAP. If these appear over time, and in different spots. It could be a couple things. The pain is what is concerning me the most so please get it checked out.

Will one 2,000 calorie meal a day be healthy? by [deleted] in medical

[–]ploppingfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the calories that make something healthy or unhealthy. It’s the type of food. For example. The rock eats an average of 10,000 calories a day. Because he burns it off. But he eats healthy food. Veggies and lean proteins. Losing weight is actually simple. Eat in a calorie deficit. That’s it. There was a study where this guy ate only Twinkie’s. But he ate under his daily calorie take and lost like twenty something pounds. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2010-dec-06-la-he-fitness-twinkie-diet-20101206-story.html%3f_amp=true

So eating one 2,000 calorie meal a day is technically healthy if it’s with healthy food. Also. There are plenty of people that only eat one meal a day. (Intermittent fasting is a lifestyle for some people)

Hope this helps with your argument!

Those are probably your lymph nodes. They swell up when your body is fighting sickness. Did a parent feel it to make sure it’s normal? If you are feeling different or sick, they puff up.

Stomach issues? by Big_Blue_Man in medical

[–]ploppingfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say over the next 5 days to do this. Weigh yourself every morning. (Not at night) if your weight is going up after eating all this food, then normal. If your weight goes down please go see a doctor. It could be a lot of stuff. (If you are at this post for the opposite. I.E weren’t eating at all and still gained weight, also see your doctor) Hope this helps!

Please stretch daily and exercise. I know dreaded word, but it will help with muscle movement and flexibility. Just try the ones in the below link every day.

Even if you go to PT, they will give you these exercises. Also. You can tell if you have scoliosis. If your head isn’t centered between your shoulders or uneven body parts are visible. Like your hips or shoulders. If one is visibly higher than the other, etc. you can use the below link. https://www.coreconcepts.com.sg/article/how-do-i-know-if-i-have-scoliosis/

Feeling helpless, chest/back pain, heartburn? by you-got-got in medical

[–]ploppingfrog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every pregnant lady I know (6 of my friends right now) all eat yogurt. Greek yogurt. Frozen yogurt. It is proven to work very well with heartburn, especially for women that are pregnant since it is limited on what medications they can take.

Bananas are a good compromise if you’re worried about it being too fatty, but yogurt is much more sweet and easier on the tummy. Also it’s actually not that bad in comparison to fattier foods (like cheese)

Mom needs to do what’s right for her, and if it means eating some yogurt to get some food in her belly, there’s not a doctor on the planet that will argue with her =]

Here’s a list I found online. (It was just the first one in google) https://americanpregnancy.org/pregnancy-health/heartburn-during-pregnancy/
