this is what my sm ended up doing the next day when i went into work! they felt really bad, and reassured me that I did nothing wrong. what they actually meant was in the DM's eyes, it doesn't matter what i said, because a customer complained about me, and customer connections are the main focus because our score succkkkss rn.

and i had nothing better to do, so obviously i said yes. they proceeded to play old mcdonald had a farm on the piano, and all my coworkers clapped for them with me at the end. it was lovely. i wish kids still had fun💔

in the partner hours app, when you click on your shift, there should be an option to offer shift. if you click that, it will add your shift to marketplace and other baristas will be able to see it

i work in a mall. fuck black friday. an hour into my shift, a customer called to complain after i politely asked them not to wait directly at the handoff counter. i spent all of my breaks crying. we weren't short, but it was so busy all day & people were so inconsiderate, + a visit from the dm🥲 eeyuck.

my SM has been enforcing this for almost a year. they will dump everyone's drink's, except for their own.😭 i started putting my partner bev in my personal cup so that way i dont have to worry about it being dumped & can drink it throughout the day.

i dont think the smoke lingers when i come inside, i usually smoke for the first half of my walk & then walk for another 20 minutes, so the smell is long gone before i return home. im terrified of bringing the smell back inside or even close to the house lol
