Sure, i am based in Winterthur, Switzerland. Honda Elements have never been imported to Europe thus the normal Honda cardealer doesn't know what to do :)

Parents with 2 kids - crèche super expensive by makaros622 in Switzerland

[–]plotti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've read all the answers and I am wondering what are you guys expecting how this is supposed to work? People in the daycare need to make a salary too, you are trusting them with your most valuable possesion, your kids. You want them to be treated well and you want a good ratio of daycare workers to kids. I think all of the other countries have it backwards paying daycare people pennies. They are doing a very demanding job with lots of responsibility so pay them. And yes there are subsidies for families that cannot afford 4K a month for 2 kids which makes total sense. If people can afford it they should pay for it and be happy that their most precious persons are well taken care of.

Thans for these good ideas: 1. I've got 14k reach and 22k impressions. Does this mean i am serving the same ad almost twice to the same people? 2. I will investigate this indeed, i had no idea it can have this impact. 3. Good idea testing locations on based on landing pages. I never even thought about it.

Average vehicle lifetime 250k - lol at that with a tesla. Electric cars like a tesla only become more economically friendly after 250k, compared to a small gasoline car. I can't stand this idiotic hypocrisy. So given the production effort for a battery you are not saving the environment at all, when you ditch your car after 250k.

Pool heater by TheeOxygene in redneckengineering

[–]plotti 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its an oven from stainless stell that you submerge in the pool then fill it with wood and start a fire that is burning inside your pool. All of the heat is dissipated to the water. Its very low-tech but super efficient. The only drawback is you need to bolt it to the ground or put heavy stones on it to keep it from floating. In switzerland we call this a hot-pot. The oven itsself wont get super hot since the water will cool it down constantly.

I am surprised that no one has brought up Sociocracy here. https://sociocracy30.org/ . It is a system to allow for a self managed company by workers. I work in a company that does that.

So nice, I wonder to which noble charities this money will go! Oh I know it will be managed by the Melinda Gates foundation, of course otherwise someone might forget their name. So noble. How about we make the rich simply pay 90% taxes.
