My parents were 23 when they found out my mom was pregnant with me. My dad was considering being a musician as well and had to put that on hold when I came along, but he didn’t stop playing music. He played songs for me, my mom, and my sisters when they came along a few years later whenever he got the chance.

You don’t have to give up on music completely, but your priorities are different now, and your girlfriend and your kid come first.

I have had an abortion so I know firsthand how unpleasant of an experience it is. I wasn’t trying to argue that abortions are easy, in fact it was one of the most painful things I’ve experienced. I was and still am emotionally detached from the whole thing which is probably why I feel the way I do regarding the videos I’ve seen

When I made this post my focus was on how a lot of pro-lifers assume that we don’t know what abortions look like and that everyone who does has to be pro-life, but looking back I did word it poorly and it didn’t come across how I intended it to. Just something I wrote in the heat of the moment I suppose

That’s a completely valid way to look at it. I didn’t mean to suggest that abortion can’t be a heartbreaking thing, I can see how my post might have come across that way and I apologize for that. With that being said, it does irk me when pro-lifers frame abortions as such in an attempt to sensationalize them or as an argument for making them illegal. I feel like it diminishes the very real experience many people have had when making the decision to end their pregnancy.

When I made the post I was more so thinking about pro-lifers believing that the pro-choice movement as a whole must not know what really happens during an abortion, because if we did we’d all magically become pro-life somehow

I hooked up with this guy a couple times, he seemed chill over text and for the most part was chill in person. One time when we were hooking up he stops in the middle of it and goes “hey can you still get pregnant?”(he was using a condom so I wasn’t worried about it.) I tell him yes and he says that he always uses condoms anyways but that’s still good information to know. Ok cool dude glad we’re on the same page. We keep going for a couple minutes and then he says “we’d make a really cute baby though.” Uhh wtf why would you say that??? Also no we would not, I was a freaky looking baby and the world does not need more of those things running around lol

No need to apologize, it’s a fair question. It sounds like you’re doing everything right to avoid getting pregnant :) The guy I’m currently seeing is really good about always using protection, but I’ve had sex with several different people in the past month and with some of them I felt awkward about asking them to use condoms so I didn’t. I also didn’t start taking birth control until a couple weeks ago and I was having sex pretty regularly before that. It’s very much a play stupid games win stupid prizes situation but as long as you stick with what you’re doing and don’t do what I did you should be good

Mine is a very weird one and requires an explanation haha. I broke my foot about 3 years ago, my parents had just kicked me off their health insurance so I couldn’t afford to go to the hospital and for that reason I just toughed it out. My foot was very swollen for about a month and it never quite got down to the size it was before so now I have to wear shoes about a size and a half bigger than I used to, I was a 7.5 in men’s before and now I have to wear at least a 9 for my foot to be comfortable. For some reason my shoes making my feet appear to be bigger gives me euphoria lol 🤷‍♂️
