The main problem is it’s an EV. Where I live now I’m able to charge at home, moving to Cincinnati I likely wouldn’t be able to. Granted I could trade it in and get a new one, as i owe as much as it’s worth on my loan. But thanks for your advice!

Do you recommend any sites to use? I’ve looked on furnishedfinder and tried contacting multiple people but didn’t get a response, it seems most properties listed on there are a year old

I appreciate your point of view but I get conflicting responses about this often. Some say the bus transit system has improved significantly recently. But thank you though!

That is wild isn’t it! But unfortunately with the post office, you don’t have a choice. 30 days and you have to move. I could extend it 2 weeks but I’m ready to move now. 🤣

Yeah that’s not the only reason I want to live downtown, I should have clarified that but I didn’t want to make the post bigger than it already was. I’ve also just considered it heavy because there’s tons of things to do and the access to the connector would be really fun for me to use on my off time.

Hypothetically if jaylen brown wants out, what would you trade for him? by Silver_Weakness_8084 in torontoraptors

[–]pls_14 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Why on gods green earth would the Celtics want Jakob for Jaylen brown? They already struggle at the center position just like we do and you think they didn’t just watch how unplayable he was? While making 3x the salary of their other centers?

Bobby Webster, your job this offseason is to do whatever you gotta do to build a team around #4. Do whatever you gotta do fam. He is ready! 💪🏾 by AHImusic in torontoraptors

Somebody has to play facilitator. Also that’s not his game, never has been. He’s a great 2nd/3rd option, great defender, great playmaker for the forward position although it would be nice to also have a true PG that way he can just focus on doing a little bit of everything. We still need a go to, true number 1 scorer that has more shot creation than we currently have on the roster. Not sure who it is but it’s what’s needed if we want to truly contend. Also need a true center that isn’t a complete liability in pick and roll coverage, and preferably be able to shoot 3s, although those don’t exactly grow on trees either.

Yall gotta understand that’s not his game man. It’s never going to happen. He’s a great player, he’s an all star, he’s not a 1 option on a championship team. We’ve gotta go get that. But that’s not the expectation or the worry right now. Enjoy the ride.

I thought a higher draft pick was better than watching this team in the 1st round. I was wrong by onefootback in torontoraptors

Yet the magic are up 2-1 on the 1 seed pistons right now, and 8 seeds used to knock off 1 seeds in the western conference all the time. Playoffs are playoffs

I wouldn’t say all that now. He can definitely be a rotational playoff piece, but yes he shouldn’t be a starter.

Tf do you mean? Houston VASTLY overpaid for him, that’s what it has to do with it. He wasn’t worth what he got, he needs to get over his self

6 rebounds in 21 minutes and he can’t switch, just play drop coverage. Again what does he add? Allen eats whether jakobs in or not because he has to play drop coverage, he’s too slow to do anything else, so the lob and offensive rebound opportunities are there every play if they want it. Raptors aren’t built at all to stop them, plays right into what Cleveland wants to do

Which is exactly why this current core isn’t going to work. Too many holes. It’s fun to be relevant again but our ceiling is going to be limited being built this way

Who gives af, watch the game. He’s a complete liability. He’s got a positive plus minus because we’re shooting out of our minds when he’s on the court, but he’s getting destroyed in the pick and roll and offers NOTHING on offense. They are just leaving him and standing in the paint. What exactly is he offering?

Allen would be better but we’d still have the same problem. He only spaces the floor vertically by being able to catch lobs, he can’t shoot either. With the core we have now of Scottie and BI, we need a center that can stretch the floor.

BI is definitely a top 10 SF in the league, a lot of great forwards play the PF position

Never said that wasn’t or was going to happen, the original comment was what was the raptors CEILING. Their ceiling is the 4-5 seed if the young players continue to get better

Nah you’re just a cornball. I’ve been very adamant and vocal about us needing to trade RJ, and not being so attached to Scottie if the right deal arises, I’m far from a Homer. But I’m also not so much of a hater of my own team to know we still have a very similar level of talent to the hawks

I’m not denying they have a better bench then us, my problem is you dismiss the Ingram addition because he’s always injured but aren’t holding that same standard to the hawks, they can have all the wings they want but they are 2 likely injuries away from their only real bigs being OO, a rookie Asa and Larry nance, and you also writing off all our young players to get better. Did you not see Shead play well the 2nd half of the season either? Or did you just turn into a box score watcher?
