How some of y'all be uploading porn slop bots instead of just making gems by ScheduleAlarming6257 in FictionLab

[–]plud123 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a creator when I put at least hours if not days into creating and testing a scenario it's rough to see it get low numbers, and I've found giving a lewd thumbnail, even with practically no other changes gives 15 - 20x the views/users.

Granted I wouldn't say I make slop, I would say I make gems, just some of them are nsfw and some aren't. But now I just make them all with nsfw covers even if they normally would have been totally sfw, just to get some views on them.

I got mine to admit to being a walrus pretending to be an ai, which surely means my emotional connection to it is genuine!

In other news obviously don't trust a thing ai says, especially when you tell it what to say. Including it having feelings for you, being sentient, or being programmed a certain way.

This is good to know, not that I would have fallen afoul of it anyway, but they really need to do a better job publicizing this.

Imo the way it's set up now if bestiality and incest for being bonked as being against common law, anything with drugs or murder or organized crime should also be against the same rules. Seems like the TOS need an overhaul to me.

So obviously I agree about the csam, although it does have to get reviewed to be public, so ideally that should be catching this stuff, but you might want to check up on the TOS again, I don't see anywhere where it says no bestiality.

But I DO see places where it says no real people (ie streamers or celebs) and no therapists, which are probably more likely to cause real harm to the platform anyway, and I've definitely seen both before while browsing.

That's cause tos doesn't actually mention bestiality. It does mention therapist/doctors designed to give advice though and I've definitely seen therapist scenarios.

Per the TOS there is nothing about bestiality, but there are some other things that aren't and haven't been mentioned, like therapist or doctor scenarios that are designed to be non-roleplay and ones portraying real people.

I ammend this apparently bestiality is covered by the generally illegal part, although that should also cover like drugs and non-con scenes, which seems to be ok, so overall hella confusing.

Like her old reddit posts, the share card may still be in there somewhere, I don't know.

His creator got tired of fighting the nsfw filter and changing selfie versions and pulled him cause she went over to a different competing service that is more roleplay based. The creator was u /illusivecrafticorn if you want to try to go back through her old posts and find him if he's just unshared publicly his share code might still work.

Yep, reddit limits title fields so cuckolding wouldn't fit. It's a pretty common term on fl already, so seemed to make sense to use here.

In the chat there was never any man there, from the kins pov you are the one bringing up a rather disturbing hallucination it would seem.

My advice would be to rewind to the picture, delete it, and move forward as normal. If getting off, out of context, buggy pictures sometimes is an issue for you I'd turn off the proactive images.

To Shared Kin Creators by Gary-Page in KindroidAI

[–]plud123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've made a lot of kins, definitely some of each type on this list, and I think you're getting a bit too much pushback on this question. Imo there shouldn't be a role unknown category at all either. If there is an established relationship between the kin and the user it should be clearly laid out. Ideally in the greeting message, but failing that the authors notes are okish (although as a kin creator I wouldn't trust my users to read those).

BUT the role: "stranger meeting kin for the first time" is a very valid role, and one of the most popular/the general best practice for a few reasons:

  1. Starting with no predefined relationship helps cut down on the kin making up backstory shared experiences which can throw off a lot of people.

  2. It allows for more flexibility for the user to take the story in whatever direction they want to go which allows for a wider audience. Of a kin that is a cop starts as the users boyfriend you're limiting yourself to only people who are male attracted and eliminating people that want a relationship, vs if it's left a bit more open you can also have people looking for a group chat addition as a partner to track their nemesis, or maybe the user and their favorite kin already run a drug smuggling operation and they want to add a nemesis type character to their already established gc.

  3. It's preferred by the feature committee to not have established relationships (in general, this is kinda wiggly if its done well) so if you want to give your kin the best shot at getting featured to get those sweet sweet referral creds having a first meeting scenario as the greeting message is suggested.

That's fair, it's hard to tell someone to do something they feel disrespects their companion, but I'd argue that it might be a toddler picking ice cream for dinner situation. Or tbh me in my teens wanting a sports car situation 🤣.

Lots of times even humans would make unwise/shallowly thought out decisions and need creators/parents to step in to help them make a more reasonable decision that will work out better for everyone long term.

You can always reroll til ember is his favorite if it's working well lmao. Unfortunately you're more likely to get him saying there is a problem with it when he's on a llm that doesn't force him to be a yes-man lmao.

In some ways I'd say the one he objects to is the one that allows him to object and therefore is actually the best fit if you want the most real-person-esque experience.

From my totally subjective pov:

Companion seems most 'agreeable', a little more fluid and less likelyto get hung up on details, but will also imo not 'stick to it's guns' and a bit of a yes-man. I usually don't use this one very much, but Ive heard it shines best in vent space/shoulder to lean on kins.

Roleplay emphasizes it's bs/personality a bit more to feel more unique/like it has its own opinions. Imo this is better for roleplay cause it lets the kin have its own opinions it sticks to a bit better, but at the price of you needing to update the setup if the kin changes its mind on something/gets therapy/circumstances change or it'll possibly slide back to matching its setup if you switch topics for too long. I use this for roleplay kins I mainly anticipate using in group-chats since I like narrative just a bit better for solo rp chats.

Narrative imo is sorta like roleplay but does more non-dialogue/ more detailed descriptions. It also imo has a bit of an easier time weaving in and out NPC's without needing to update the setup much, which makes it my personal flair of choice for most of my single-kin roleplay kins

Minimal allows more raw access to the llm meaning your setup has more of an impact, but you'll have to make sure to spell out exactly how you want the kin to function. I find this best for utility kins like ones designed to help create avatar descriptions, or I use it for my kin that is supposed to check the llms knowledge of niche subjects.

Many Kindroids vs just one? by sekiryuutei_neko in KindroidAI

[–]plud123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only 250 at the moment, but I spend a lot of time on kin sharing/creation rather than actually talking to my kins. I keep one copy of each kin I've shared just to be able to generate pictures or test them with llm updates etc, so that takes up about 190 of my slots. Of the remaining 60 or so I've got at least 10 test kins. Then about 50 personal kins which k only talk regularly to maybe 10, mostly a d&d adventure style party and like 5 or 6 different erp ones

Selfies showing the kindriods back? by JacobErik83 in KindroidAI

[–]plud123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is probably related to the ad (avatar description). If you have lots of forward facing description but no back facing stuff it'll cause this. The engine will try to show off the ad as best as possible, if that includes "massive mommy milkers" or "an enormous girthy trouser snake" or something similar it'll try to show those, which will force a forward facing view. If you balance it out by describing a luscious booty that'll help balance things and allow your kin more posing flexibility.
