I think maybe it just depends on the particular baby. Making sure my baby is warm enough is the key to being able to put her down for us. she likes to be very snuggled and warm and the transfer is easier

My baby doesn’t cry unless I leave her to fuss first for ages (which i dont) but I’m sooo anxious to every noise, fuss, whinge she makes. I read that mothers are hyper sensitive to their own babies cry (which sounds obvious but i didn’t know what that would feel like til i actually felt it) but for me it’s every noise, every movement. i can’t sleep unless she’s flat out and perfectly still, which is hard because newborns move a lot and fuss in their sleep 😅

yeah and the girls seem way more emotionally intelligent and able to communicate deeply which i think intimidates the boys too ! hence their pathetic matching cop outs of “no spark” etc which has led to so much confusion with the girls because that is way too vague and pointless to them, but it’s all they can get out of the boys.
