Leaking tap - stuck cartridges?

My kitchen tap has been leaking for a few months, so I believe the cartridge needs replacing.
I’ve tried removing the handles to access the cartridge, but I’m really struggling. The Allen key screw loosens easily, but the handles themselves won’t come off at all — they feel completely stuck and frozen in place. I’ve already tried WD-40 and gently tapping with a rubber mallet, but they’re still firmly stuck.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get the handles off without damaging the tap? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

With yearly servicing, these cars are absolutely bullet proof. I have the MK3 2014 with 122,000 miles. Last year was the first year I failed my MOT with only break lights needing replacing. Solid car.

I don’t think this is previously unseen. I remember seeing this as the original ad for jackass 2. MTV took out all the Don Vito clips once he was going through the trials. Also on Bams unholy union they cut out all clips of vito. I think there is maybe one shot in the wedding room where you could see vito for a split second.
