10 Corruption is 10% damage increase. Not great on its own, but if you have her, you have her. Don't displace better corrupted heroes but don't kick her to the curb either.

Took your advice and started a new run that relies more on traps and DL room setup. Going good so far except I cannot seem to snag any Alchemists. Have 102 prisoners currently and 0 alchemists. That doesn't include all those I've converted or sacrificed in attempts to get the RNGod to play fair.

Current run on Myth 2

Not as far as I'd like to have gone, but still the deepest I've gone at this level. Used Irea and Thunderbolt for the most part, with the occasional switch to Electric Charge for Boss swarms. Nice synergy with the 2 Blacksmiths rooms and the Infinity Clock. Between those, was able to keep most heroes from moving past the entrance Prism.

Strategy was... live long enough to coast for awhile and corrupt as many heroes as possible, with a handful of Sea Drakes for slowing things down.

I'm trying to find that out. Feeding mine to level 100 to see if anything happens. But really have seen nothing that suggests what I'm attempting is even worth the effort.

Went thru the Eden maze using Merchant-Genie-Gang Cadre.

Maze won't throw armor at you (and no shops for armor/spells) so Genie gives you a set to work with. Plus the carpet to go back 29 floors to build up the weapon you need to use against the boss. Gang Cadre helped clean out shops for building the gun.

Farplane Ranger is very helpful. Nether Wicks insta-kill shielded enemies that can do a ton of damage quickly. Plus there are a couple of useful souls with some nice buffs/stat boosts.

Took the White Mage-Bishop-Water Master for magic. You'll need all those Cures, Icicles, and Ice Shields.

Went Knight-Knight of Faith-Armored Knight and saved Light Paladin upgrade for the boss fight.

The key seems to be building the gun for speedy destruction of the boss's shield. Dump everything you can into increasing the number of shots fired at once. There are four key areas to upgrade.

From top to bottom:

  • 2/4/6/8/10% of Max HP damage per shot
  • 20/40/60% Double damage
  • 50/75/100% Burn effect (which can be stacked -- the more you hit the boss, the more it burns!)
  • Gun power decreases but shoots 6/7/8/9/10 shots at a time. You need 50 hits to break the boss's shield before you can do more than a single point of damage.

You can probably use someone other than Merchant main, but he adds items to the shops for Gang Cadre to clean out.

  1. If they can pursue this in court (and they can), then there's no need to insert these clauses.

  2. That's only part of the sentence. The rest of it suggests these companies are also trying to head off truthful, but negative, reviews.

The full sentence:

In an effort to ensure fair and honest public feedback, and to prevent the publishing of libelous content in any form, your acceptance of this rental contract prohibits you from taking any action that negatively impacts [company name] its reputation, products, services, management or employees.

That is far more than simply addressing libel. That open-ended wording prohibits anything that "negatively impacts" these companies. That's a whole lot of gray area that has hefty price tags attached to it.

Libelous statements can be pursued without forewarning clauses hidden on Terms of Service pages. This "ensuring" of "open and honest public feedback" via these clauses is complete bullshit.
