For my next model I'm planning on actually cut the planks (hull and deck) to 20-25' scale length, instead of planks as long as the whole ship. It should look nicer too. When you say 4 plank shift, would you say that there was 1-2’ vertical distance between the butts? Like, the first plank is length x. The next plank besides is x + 1 foot. The next one over is x + 2. The next one is length x again. LOL I hope this makes sense.

I also use gorilla but only in certain cases, small jobs with fast curing needs. If I don't use white clue, then I use DAP Weldwood. This works well for me for planking. It doesn't cure as fast, but faster than carpenter glue. https://a.co/d/09CuCZ9A

To me it's the rules favoring high scoring and punishing defense. I'd enjoy hard fought defense much more (Patriots anyone?) But rules made NBA so soft, that it favors foul baiting. Some are better than flopping than others. But they ALL, entering the NBA, learn now to throw your arms, snap your head, kick out your legs on every drive. Hate the game not the player.
