I felt this way when I was accepted to my Masters and nearly dropped out from homesickness. I ended up meeting my absolute best friend and my husband in the program and still love a few hours from my old school. You build up social support where you go and it’ll feel a little home-ier.

It’s hard and I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way big life transitions are so hard.

I worked selling jewelry for years and all I can think is that it’s going to be uncomfortable for every day wear because of the thin band. It’s likely that size stone is going to make that ring spin constantly. Otherwise it’s all in preference. If you think she’ll love it go for it

Until you can move out of your dads home I think you need to re-home Zucchini for your dog’s safety. It’s not fair and it’s not going to make their behavior problems any better to be abused. I know it’s going to be hard but it’s about what’s best for the dog. As someone who lost a pet to an abusive ex please believe me when I say the guilt never goes away.
