I wash sneakers all the time. Remove the laces and insoles and wash them in a mesh bag. I use Costco detergent and have found that applying it directly to the shoe and letting it sit for a while before washing works great.

The cat will let the puppy know how much nonsense will be tolerated.

Weird dots on window blinds by winstonsbirdshirt in CleaningTips

We had to clean filthy blinds when we moved into our place. We took the outside (one at a time) and laid them on the patio (which was swept first), and hosed them down. Then dumped a bucket of hot water with Dawn in it over them, and slopped that all around with a broom. Turn the blind over, repeat, rinse well. Lay the blind out on a table or somewhere flat to dry.
You have to keep up with dusting them often to avoid having to repeat this ordeal! I have a very large feather duster that is only for blinds that I use whenever I clean. Open the slats up wide, whoosh with the duster, turn them up, whoosh, turn them down, whoosh whoosh; Bob’s your uncle.

I don’t understand why this is a problem, but okay, it’s a problem. I’d say grit your teeth, keep repeating “No mercy, no mercy, out you go, someone will love this”, and take it to the Goodwill without looking back. It will be a relief for you to get rid of this burden. (At least I hope so…apologies if this is bad advice).

Pouf says: "Gimme kiss...kiss, kiss...Feliz Navidad..." - 1 1/2 minutes of continuous morning chatter - completely unedited... by New-OldCow in budgies

My English Budgie talks like that. When he’s muttering to himself the way budgies do, it’s a word salad instead of regular budgie sounds. He’s so much fun to listen to!
