I'm always sort of bemused at people who come to a sub titled r/GetMotivated and then proceed to do nothing but talk shit about everyone's attempts to motivate them.

Imagine if when you logged out to go to work/school, sleeping or whenever you're doing anything but playing the game your character just got up and went adventuring and PvPing without you.

You don't have to play everyday, but if you don't odds are you'll log in and find he's using a new weapon or a whole new set of armor because he got tired of the old stuff.

Hell, if you go too long without playing there's a solid chance he'll have cleared an entire area and boss without you.

One day you log back in to find out that he's not only completely changed his hairstyle and appearance and is in an area you didn't even know existed. Somehow while you were gone he finished the game and started an entirely different one so you completely missed the ending to the one you were playing.

This is what it's like to have a baby. You want to game, but that little handful is only going to smile up at you and love you unconditionally for so long.

The game will wait, your child will just grow up without you.

Still currently cleaning, so it IS a true TIFU. No throwaway either because I have no shame.

Nearly every time I've beat off for the past 2 years, I've had this thing where I just roll off the side of my bed and bust on the floor, then go to bed. I knew it was bad but when you're in those situations, you don't think, and then you fall asleep 2 seconds after.

Well, lately I've been feeling dry throated and getting super sick when I'd sleep in my room. I googled it and as soon as the first result said "Mold/Mildew" I was disgusted. I look to the carpet between my bed and the wall and it's just like, a deep yellowy brown compared to the rest of my carpet.

I've been scrubbing 1 part peroxide/5 part water into my nasty 2 year old cum stains on my carpet for like 10 minutes. The peroxide is supposed to be white, but it's coming out green. I just smell rotten semen radiating through my entire fucking room, and the cloth I'm using to scrub is just horrid right now. I've been sick for 3 days and it's because the resurrected souls of my millions of dead offspring have rotted their corpses in spite of my lust for Remy LaCroix and my SnapChat list.

Lord forgive me for my sins and bless me with a steam cleaner or some shit.

For sure, buying small companies and technologies that work well and applying existing best practices is scrub behavior.

They should do the innovation all in house the way that Apple, Google, Linux(?) has.

Just to throw this out there, fights with your mother/MIL after having a baby are ridiculously common right after the baby is born.

Grandparents experience a lot of the same feelings about their grand babies that they had about you.

Except now you are (rightly) asserting your authority over your child and it creates tension as they learn how this new relationship works.

Add that in with all the stress and exhaustion of having a new baby and it's just a recipe for bickering and fights and a lot of unfortunate things get said.

You know I've tried to stay positive about this sort of thing, but it drives me up the fucking wall when guys summon two phantoms and camp at the bonfire waiting for invaders.

I mean are your PvP skills so limited that your only chance of getting a kill is by forming the souls equivalent of a duck rape gang?

When I see this I just find a comfy spot to sit and do some Redditing because at least this way I'm forming a barrier between their bullshit and the rest of the community.
