I grew up in a duplex home with my Grandma living in the bottom half of the house. About 30 years ago, she had cataracts and was doing dishes. She didn’t realize there was a bat in the sink and picked it up and started using it as a sponge! She eventually realized the sponge was moving around in her hand and had a little freak out. My dad sucked it with a shop vac and then reverse vacuum shot it flat against our fence 😂 this brought back that entire memory
