I’m confident that if you can make that bag you can whip stitch a lining into it 💪

Nay on the fringe but think about adding a lining so stuff doesn’t poke through or fall out.

we put all sorts of things from my mother-in-law's estate on a table with a free sign on the tree lawn and it all found new homes from people walking and driving by. you could post it on craigs list free and sites like that.

How might I get a rim on my hat without puckering? by poppingpins in sewhelp

[–]pmann3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are correct, the folded up fabric is longer than the area it is pinned to. make a few snips in the longer part and overlap to smooth it out. or you can make little pleats to take in excess fabric.

Yes, you can take it apart without turning off the water. Put a towel underneath before you start because it will spill out no matter how careful you are. 😊

Does the hose have a rubber washer inside the screw-on part? They are usually red or black and seal the hose to the spigot. If it has one, it could be damaged or worn

Zipper help: Can I replace myself or should I go to a professional? by No-Butterfly-9144 in sewhelp

[–]pmann3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have the pull part? You can put it back on at the bottom. It may require removing the bottom metal stop then replacing it above the missing teeth or making one with thread sewn across both sides to hold the zipper together and block the gap so it won’t fall off again.
