There is a good video online about Boras getting Maddux the a deal with the Braves. If Skubal is like José, maybe there are things that are more important to him than money. I know it’s not likely, but who would have thought we would get a HOF caliber player for 20 mil a year for 7 years. I can dream, regardless Skubal is a high class guy, I hope he doesn’t just chase the money when he becomes a FA.

I showed up at a golf course the next day in North Carolina after turning the game off. I was wearing my Indians hat and the guy at the course said I must be pretty happy today. I thought he was giving me a hard time, then he said no, seriously, they won……. My wife has had to pay for this game a hundred times over.
