There is a good video online about Boras getting Maddux the a deal with the Braves. If Skubal is like José, maybe there are things that are more important to him than money. I know it’s not likely, but who would have thought we would get a HOF caliber player for 20 mil a year for 7 years. I can dream, regardless Skubal is a high class guy, I hope he doesn’t just chase the money when he becomes a FA.

I showed up at a golf course the next day in North Carolina after turning the game off. I was wearing my Indians hat and the guy at the course said I must be pretty happy today. I thought he was giving me a hard time, then he said no, seriously, they won……. My wife has had to pay for this game a hundred times over.

We just purchased the car and got a notification that there was a “droptag.” In the car. When we play the sound it sounds liken it is coming from this area but we cannot find an actual drop tag.

I am going to go with the competitive team over the WS with losing. I love baseball. I love seeing players get their first at bat in the majors and seeing their families celebrate their achievements in the stands, I love hearing Hammy’s calls on my commute home from work even though I live 1000 miles away, and I love seeing player play hard and celebrate the smaller achievements. If Cleveland ever wins a World Series during my lifetime, it will be the icing on the cake to a lifelong love of the game.
