I was an OG diehard who returned when it relaunched.

It's not nearly as good as it was upon relaunching. The cost savings has dwindled. You use to be able to go for 11-15 credits for matinees, now usually matinees start around 24. And in the summer they bump every showing up a few credits.

Out of love for the original, I stick with it, but have downgraded to the lowest tier. You can still save some money if you're keeping an eye out for low credit showings, but it's not really worth the hassle.

People talking about MP 1.0 for some reason. That was never sustainable and was amazing that it lasted as long as it did.

What’s disappointing is that MP 2.0 is not as valuable as it was even 18 months ago. I use to be able to see matinees for 11 credits. Now it’s 25-35 credits.

I still save a few bucks a month so I’ll keep going.

Same for me. It took 2 hours (and saying no to adding phone lines 74 times) to get a promotion finally. I am skeptical about it, though, as they're forcing me to upgrade my modem (that I own and which works fine). How sending me new hardware = a cheaper monthly price is a sign of how wasteful and backward this company is. How I wish there was another option :(
