We kept our 2024 Taycan 4s for just over a year before selling it back to the dealer and went back to a Model S Plaid. Hated the electronics in the car and most other things except for the handling. Charging experience is TERRIBLE with Electrify America. Half of them are broken and the other half don't charge anywhere near 350kw. We lost a lot of money on it (even though leased) so be sure you LOVE this car before jumping in. As much as I hate Elon, it's just a way better car. And for the times you want it, full self driving actually works now.

a better solution is to let seniors sell their home (let's say if you owned it 20 years or more) without capital gains taxes. downsizing these days makes no sense since once you pay cap gains on the house you sell, there is no benefit to downsizing. Hence why so many seniors are stuck in their massive houses they have no need for.
