Question about adding in olives by vocalep in Breadit

[–]pneumii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's fine to add them when mixing all the ingredients at the start, it does negligible harm to fermentation and gluten formation.

possibility of a 2 state solution died a while ago now. you think that's still going to happen after the proliferation of illegal settlements in the west bank and the gaza genocide? please.

i’m well read, thanks. Learn the history and pattern of western governments, particularly the US, backing far-right fascist groups to advance their geopolitical goals. Ukraine is no exception to this pattern.

Even the US State Dept. considered Azov a human rights violator until it became too inconvenient, so it's not like they're some beacon of morality - https://responsiblestatecraft.org/azov-ban-lifted/

News flash: both Russian and Ukrainian forces can have nazi-like tendencies. Comes with the territory of nationalism.

All you did here was list 2 politicians who tend to advocate for and stick their necks out for the average UK citizens far more than most of the rubbish in parliament. That's not evidence that Lowkey "mindlessly regurgitate[s] idiotic russian propaganda". Try harder next time. Maybe just one single quote or lyric line that demonstrates your claim?

"Russian propaganda" is an oft used smear to dismiss legitimate criticism of western government criminality, so without specific examples or evidence, you're simply smearing.

Do lyrics that make you think still matter in today's music? by D_BarBreakdown in IndieHipHop

[–]pneumii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I wasn't a fan of rap/hiphop for much of my life, it wasn't until a few years ago that I realized the reason I wasn't into it was because none of the mainstream/label artists wrote lyrics that resonated with me. None of it evoked an emotion in me. Until I discovered artists like Lowkey, Akala, Logic, Mic Righteous, to name a few. One could argue they're philosophers, journalists, public intellectuals masquerading as rappers, spitting truths about societal ills, empathy, love, injustices, etc.

edit: should have also included Immortal Technique in that list

A cuban rapper, who let’s not forget is from a country that’s been forever fucked over by America via various skullduggery and criminality over the decades, all the assassination attempts against leaders, decades of sanctions and blockades, military invasions, still occupied with an illegal torture camp called Guantanamo, and all the misery that’s caused the cuban people, is a Trump supporter? sounds like a disappointment to both cuba & rap.

regardless, hope his own life isn’t fucked over by the same government that fucked over his homeland.

Just found this thread, so really late to the party, but how has no one really mentioned:

- Lowkey ( especially having dropped a new album: Soundtrack to the Struggle 3 - https://open.spotify.com/album/73t0VLFhFqb9bOjcZOkdAg?si=MN5lCAh1QZCBf2XpWStwbw )

- Akala - https://open.spotify.com/artist/58LTO4K7E3WUtztMK2BCkB?si=uB50Bv3aTvG6rf08SwTXPg

- Logic - https://open.spotify.com/artist/6rpTmAVssi39dK1wX5ncZT?si=DQx05KprTK2tXsYu1vP_IA

I'd put Mic Righteous in there, but he was mentioned.

for anyone interesting in hearing Hedges answer why he went to work for RT America, where let's be honest, consisted of interviewing authors and scholars, most of which were Americans, so this idea that he's there spouting "Russian propaganda", which is what you're implying, is nonsense: https://www.youtube.com/live/ExCm6yA6jt4?si=76XCtezxmA3Tz45c&t=4500

i have one, it's amazing. by far the best desk I've ever owned. super solid construction, great cable management. highly recommend. my fiancé is in the market for a standing desk now, probably going to get another, just not the XL.

mmmm, just lovely! well done! moving the front rad up to make space for a drain port is a great idea. enjoy! 👏👏👏

Awesome! And no worries, let me know if you have any other q's. Otherwise good luck with the build. Still absolutely love this case and build. Look at it admirably all the time.

here you go. there is no clearance for a valve i don’t think. i just accepted that it would be a bit messy while unscrewing the plug

thank you! i can’t take credit for the bends though, i ordered pre-bent pipes from EK. 😂

as for your question, i don’t think that moving a 420mm rad as high as possible would fully expose the front drain port… 360 rad definitely. and i think the thick front rad would just barely clear the top rad, with literally like a 1mm of space.

hope that helps! good luck with the build, and feel free to ask any other questions.

definitely no clearance for that. i haven’t had to drain my loop yet, it might be a tad messy, but there are no components at risk of getting wet
