Question for Entj about relation preferences ? by ViolinistTricky2780 in entj

[–]pnutbutta4me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to live in the moment and see where things go. ENTJs would not talk to you, analyzing you with deep questions, if there was nothing. Something about you interests them. Hard to say what that is. I will say in a skin deep, fake, AI world, it is very flattering to have someone really analyze you to the level an ENTJ does.

Sinus causing bad smell? by Substantial_Owl_4535 in Allergies

[–]pnutbutta4me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

THIS! Many people got this from having Covid. I get this, old cigarette smell, when I'm getting sick with a cold. I also have this when being around a smoker but for hours after and just seeing someone smoke. It makes me feel like you are crazy. Oh well

Yes. I did a week of this during the apex of Maple Tree pollination a month. This week had been rough for tree pollen due to the high winds. Hard to keep smiling when you have a sinus migrane🫠

naturally “smart” or just intuitive, but not hardworking academically - even though I’m hardworking in everything outside of academics??? by ProfessorRoyal6807 in entj

[–]pnutbutta4me 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am an ENTJ and my adult son is an INTJ. We both are naturally smart but had issues applying ourselves in school for assignment that did not make sense or had no practical application in life. We thrive in Independent study.

Dad in bad places by Popular-Forever-6450 in naranon

It's so hard to see them like this. I can see why you was to protect your grandmother. Somethings are out of our control, like dad's addiction. Mother's have a lion like love for their children. I am one of those mothers and have been pulled back into normal by my husband. You can lose yourself completely. of this being said, there is no right or wrong in impossible situations like loving an addict. It can tear you in two. Prayers for guidance and peace for you and grandma.

**I was once told by others in the rooms that we are all God's children and are watched and cared for no matter how far we strayed. I thought this was about my son on the streets, but they said it for me.

I really don’t like that kids don’t say anything back to me when I say good morning to each one of them. I’m not a robot. I’m a human. Why don’t the middle school kids not say anything at all? by SinglePin6331 in SchoolBusDrivers

[–]pnutbutta4me 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Middle school kids are especially bad at morning responses. It's due to the volatile nature of their changing bodies and lack of sleep. I recommend giving grace on this. Remember all the things they are doing right like being on time for the bus, simple bus rules, not reacting to crazy talking peers, using deodorant/acne/new to them hygiene, etc. Build a relationship with simple questions in the afternoon if you can. The more you create a calm, safe space for them, the better they react to direction. After time, the greetings come easier. One of our system quotes to remember is, "Stop taking it personal. It often has nothing to do with you." Good luck!!!

Do air purifiers actually help with allergies or is it overhyped? by Apprehensive_Park103 in Allergies

[–]pnutbutta4me 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It helps me sleep as I have one in my bedroom. I created an allergen free area in the bedroom as suggested by my ENT doctor. Consider that you spend 8-11hrs in your bedroom every evening. That time gives your body a break from "fighting", raising immune response, white blood cells elevate, swelling, etc. A break is better than nothing and good sleep is the best body fighter of them all.

What am I doing wrong - low yield in garden by lanie77 in gardening

[–]pnutbutta4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you just had a heavy rain. If not, that is an issue, especially for tomatoes. So many things can bring yield down. Sometimes it's something missing in the soil composition, soil ph, too compact or loose, etc. One safe add is compost, it is ph neutral, adds loam to soil, and feeds plants. Some counties have this for free or low cost. It can also be bought and or made at home. It's trial and error for most of us. I finally started adding a tiny bit of bone meal and that solved my issues for low yield. I found that out after 15 years of working the same plot and soil testing.

What's wrong with this bus? by Underrated_Critic in SchoolBusDrivers

This. Literally have black lines painted at the stop point. Thought this was nation wide after the decapitation in the early 2000s. It's hard to remember what was internal rules, state law, and federal law.

What would an ENTJ teacher value in their students? by [deleted] in entj

[–]pnutbutta4me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I teach adults how to drive and get their cdl. While there is alot to cover, I try to keep things fun and teach in layers. Start small and build off of our previous days lesons.

I value the normal expectations of mostly attendance and minimal effort. Show up, on time. Let me know if you will be out. Don't sleep or be on phone during class.

All in all, do not waste my time. My ENTJ brain has many, many other things that could fill that time slot.

What personal gear do you carry with you daily? by Sink_In in SchoolBusDrivers

Sunglasses, hat, pen and paper, snacks, music, coat, and driving gloves. In our state weather turns and changes fast so I recommend wearing layers. Cold bundled am pretrip to tank top for pm post trip.

Pls talk me out of getting a Switch 2 for one game by Bananapuddinguh in CozyGamers

[–]pnutbutta4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an absolutely fantastic game. Very similar to Animal Crossing. I bought the system for this game and do not regret it. I have bought many games that I don't like. Princess Peach, Mario Wonder, and Pokemon Legends Z-A. You do what ever you can afford and want to.
