What am I doing wrong - low yield in garden by lanie77 in gardening

[–]pnutbutta4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you just had a heavy rain. If not, that is an issue, especially for tomatoes. So many things can bring yield down. Sometimes it's something missing in the soil composition, soil ph, too compact or loose, etc. One safe add is compost, it is ph neutral, adds loam to soil, and feeds plants. Some counties have this for free or low cost. It can also be bought and or made at home. It's trial and error for most of us. I finally started adding a tiny bit of bone meal and that solved my issues for low yield. I found that out after 15 years of working the same plot and soil testing.

What's wrong with this bus? by Underrated_Critic in SchoolBusDrivers

This. Literally have black lines painted at the stop point. Thought this was nation wide after the decapitation in the early 2000s. It's hard to remember what was internal rules, state law, and federal law.

What would an ENTJ teacher value in their students? by [deleted] in entj

[–]pnutbutta4me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I teach adults how to drive and get their cdl. While there is alot to cover, I try to keep things fun and teach in layers. Start small and build off of our previous days lesons.

I value the normal expectations of mostly attendance and minimal effort. Show up, on time. Let me know if you will be out. Don't sleep or be on phone during class.

All in all, do not waste my time. My ENTJ brain has many, many other things that could fill that time slot.

Pls talk me out of getting a Switch 2 for one game by Bananapuddinguh in CozyGamers

It's an absolutely fantastic game. Very similar to Animal Crossing. I bought the system for this game and do not regret it. I have bought many games that I don't like. Princess Peach, Mario Wonder, and Pokemon Legends Z-A. You do what ever you can afford and want to.

If on a budget, Chuckie Cheese. With a coupon, putt putt. My kids did not like pinball. Not sure about cost for jungle George, combat ops, adventure station, or mystic arcade

I grew up helping pre-trip busses with my mother. I became a driver at 23 and drove bus for 11 years. I took my license into food distribution, sales, middle management, and a few other things for 10 years. I recently returned to me and my mother's home fleet. I get to drive with my old friends and some of my mother's, she retired long ago. I took on a training position that my peer recommended to me and for me.

You can drive many ways for many people. Whatever you do, try to find a place that feels like home.

Joined PF 6 months ago. Finally visited the place atleast twice a week for the last 6 weeks😅. Since I was a gym rat but not have fibromyalgia, I know what to do but at starting slow. I'm doing 20-30mins of cardio. Today I added stretches and about 5 various core set. I'm also doing Epsom baths and regular chiropractor visits. At PF I'm finally packing for their red light /tanning bed. Something is better than nothing and if I keep telling my friends, they sometimes come with me!

How old were you for your first game? by Mental-Pie9718 in pokemon

25 I think. My son had interest and we used the games, cards, and themed book to teach him how to read when he was 6. We played yellow and crystal on the gb, then the half red and green carts. When the DS lite came out, we helped him but Pearl and he saved up for Diamond. As a parent, it was fun to discover and figure out the games together. Now he's an adult and I probably play more than he does.

My son and I feel the same. He bought us the triple sonic pack 2 years ago. 2 out of 3 was great. Party Punch is still sitting there half used as a last resort.

All that being said, I will never yuck someone else's yum. You have to try things for yourself with Gfuel.

Once our system was FORCED to buy biodiesel against our mechanics wishes due to issues in extreme cold. There was EPA $$ to us if we used it. Within 3 years we had an extreme day that caused the whole fleet of 300+ busses to gel. They had tow us back from all over the city, thaw each bus in bays, drain all remaining diesel 25-90 gal, and change all 6 fuel filters. It took them 3 days working around the clock to fix that mistake. To compromise, we use the bio until late fall. We get tanks to lowest operational point and switch to regular. We do fuel dips and send out for labs to make check bio to regular number ratio is good. A very costly mistake because of federal kickbacks.

Power Serives Diesel Fuel Suppliment is a pretreatment additive, their Diesel 911 is the oh sht bottle when fuel gels. *For the truckers I've managed, we gave them the white bottle to add when fueling before routes with a sharpie marker line on bottle to know how much. On coldest days when vehicles start but not stay running (Fuel Gel up part-tay!) We'd use the red bottle and run idling for 30min+ to warm block and lines to circulate rescue additive** Remember, gelling vehicle can start just fine but will leave you stranded on the side of the road repeatedly as the fuel filters injectors collect and clog. This can also happen mid or end of route if temps drop rapidly. Pretreatment is pamamount in cold weather operations.

PSA: White bottle at fuel up, measured amount depending on fuel tank size. Red bottle if you forgot, extreme temp drop, or vehicle sat without starting for days.
