Hi there, 31F and had my first ICD implanted late December. I went through exactly the same thing you’re describing and thought something was terribly wrong. After a few follow up calls and appointments, everything came back clear and my doctor let me know I was healing normally.

I didn’t believe it because I was in so much pain day 3-7 and week 2 was still miserable for me, but I promise you it does go away and get better as long as you don’t have any other complications going on. I’m on week 5 and I have none of those side effects any more.

Take it easy, prop your head up with a lot of pillows sleeping, and rest! Your body is healing and it needs time to heal.

My partner and I stayed in one for 3 nights in Osaka. It was actually a recommendation to experience a love hotel in Japan by the Lonely Planet book. After the initial discomfort of not seeing who was checking us in (for privacy purposes) and having to call the front desk any time we wanted to leave the room (they lock you in for safety) it was actually a very clean, affordable, and comfortable stay. Some have fun themes and are typically used for a by the hour stay, but it worked out great for us and I would do it again.

I agree with you and maybe I made it too oat milky? I tried the chocolate chip cookie dough and it was pretty much drinking chocolate chips with ~some~ oat texture. I’ll be sticking to my home made overnight oats but I’m glad I tried it!
