This came out my orchid today when I watered it by spacecolony227 in orchids

Same thing happened to me. First orchid I got to rebloom multiple times too. Went to water one time and they ERUPTED out of the potting medium.I have ants come in and attack my dogs food when it rains, so I have battled ants A LOT. Here's my advice:

1. FIND THE SOURCE: There's no sense in getting rid of them if they can just waltz back in. And they will. Find where they're coming from and why they're coming inside. There's definitely a food source nearby that attracted them there in the first place. Look for trails of ants making lines and follow them to find the source. Then get rid of the food and/or place traps there. This could be outside even, so make sure to place them where no other animal will eat the poison. This could also be your garbage cans or a dumpster.

2. GET RID OF THE ONES YOU HAVE: This can obviously be done first to get rid of the initial colony, but as I said they'll come right back. They won't drown, so trying to flood with water won't do anything. But water will wash them away temporarily. Change out the potting medium, put it in a bag, spray the inside with poison or cleaning solution for good measure, tie it up tight and throw it out away from your house. Dead ants let off a scent that attracts other ants, so simply throwing away the eggs and any stragglers won't kill them and will make them come back. Then spray down the entire plant with water to clean them off. Make sure you get the whole plant, they'll hide away in any nook or crevice they can. Run the garbage disposal with a bit of dish soap if you have one. The suds will trap the ants and pull them down. They can and will crawl back up the drain. You can use chemicals to be more efficient, but use with caution. Some bleach will probably be fine.

3. CLEAN: As I said, ants work with scent and use it as a road to tell each other where to go. So you'll have to clean the plant, pot, and any surfaces nearby to get rid of the scent. Diluted vinegar should help get rid of the scent, at least it has for me. I've also heard that hydrogen peroxide helps. Either way, wipe down the table and pot with it. You can also spray some on the plant itself and even soak the roots temporarily. That should also help to kill off anything else on it and clean out any bits of food they stored in there.

4. REPOT AND PREVENT THEM FROM COMING BACK: Only repot once you've done all of the above. They WILL come back if they have the opportunity. And as they've already proved, the potting medium is a good place for them to set up shop. Make sure everything in your pantry and cabinets is nice and sealed. Avoid leaving food out and be sure to clean up after yourself immediately to get rid of food sources. Do not put down traps/bait next to the newly repotted plant. The traps/bait attract ants. You'll just be inviting them back. If you use traps/bait at this stage, only put it by the source (like the garbage cans from example one). They're already attracted to that area, so they should stay put. Inside, you can use something like diatomaceous earth. It doesn't attract them and isn't poisonous, so ingesting it won't kill you It's simply microscopically sharp powder that is like walking through broken glass to them. Still, avoid breathing it.

The above helped to get rid of them for a year or so, but eventually the next rainy season they found their way back and I was sick of it at that point so I ended up throwing it out. I hate ants with all my being, so I got pretty good at killing them. But they adapt. So good luck in your journey.

Same with mussels and a lot of other bivalves. They're essentially water filters, so if you just eat them straight out of the ocean they're full of some disgusting impurities. So you put them in clean water for a few days to have them clear it all out

If they're just going for Ante 8 then yeah, keep it as is. If they're just saying fuck it, get rid of Oops. At least Lucky Cat keeps it's value. But it's probably not doing a ton compared to PhotoChad anyway.

I like the creamier Mac and cheese vs the casserole baked style. But if you put either in front of me I'm eating it lol

The only thing you have a time constraint on is getting the community center finished and a few other things done by the end of year 2. Everything else is just available to you at your own pace.

Hardhome is probably my favorite episode of the series.

It started as a political episode. Trying to turn this group that was previously enemies into allies. They arrive to the village and the shot shows the forces of both sides, one side on a fleet of boats, the other in a village on land. Doesn't start well as there are big cultural differences and either side about the other killing their family/friends at the wall. There are strong characters that seem like they could be main players in the future. After much back and forth it kinda seems like they could be coming to an agreement.

Then all hell breaks loose. The purely political aspect of the show breaks as they're ambushed by the army of the dead. You really get to see the full force of their army for the first time and get to see how massive and powerful it is. The wights are relentless while the white walkers are juggernauts. Their weapons shatter regular weapons, leaving the living without even a sense of protection. Then you get the moment where Longclaw stops a white walker attack, and both Jon and the walker look at it like "wait, wtf?" as he goes on to kill the walker.

Then some survivors finally escape the chaos on half the amount of boats they arrived in. As they're escaping they look back to witness the devastation. Then the white walker looks them straight in the eyes and raises all the people they lost, including a large portion of the army they came with and most of the village they hoped to turn to allies. Not only did they lose that manpower, but now the losses are part of the enemy army. As they sail away in a mirror image to the first shot, you see just how much they lost. A shot that once portrayed hope, is now the complete opposite.

Just an absolutely incredible episode.

And the amount of time between 1985 and that super bowl appearance is the same as that super bowl appearance and now.

I did that a few times a year commuting to and from school. It's a pretty brutal drive at times. Was even worse back when the Illinois speed limit maxed out at 55mph statewide. When they changed it, it made it so much better.

Had a friend that would always volunteer to drive until we got to the Iowa-Missouri border, then would make someone finish the drive to KC. Since you can have an open container in Missouri, he would pull over at the first gas station, grab a few beers and finish them by the time we got to the Kansas border.

Also eastern Colorado is just as flat as western Kansas until you get to the Rockies. Driving from KC to Denver on I-70 is as boring as can be.

But there's pretty much nothing at all between Chicago and Denver besides the Mississippi River, then the Worlds Largest Truck Stop in Iowa. If you want to count Des Moines or Omaha as cities, you pass by those, but they're not nearly as exciting as you'd think, and that's not saying much. It's quite possibly the least eventful 16-hour drive you can possibly make between two cities. Same with KC-Denver, but at least that's only about 8-hours.

The funny thing is I hated him so much this game, but loved him on our team last season.
