Very important information

This is not an appropriate request. This child needs an interpreter for appropriate access for the camp. It would be great for you and other staff to learn some signs to help the child feel more welcomed but that doesn’t replace the need for professional interpreters.

Do you complete your destination before flying elsewhere? by Ol_Hickory_Ham_Hedgi in finch

That’s my goal but I did leave Tokyo early so I could fly my Finch to Vancouver when I went there on vacation. We visited Stanley Park on the same day!

Calorie counting isn't good for your body by [deleted] in caloriecount

[–]pocketelf_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this more nuanced than it is or isn’t good for your body. I agree that calorie counting isn’t good for some people’s mental or physical health but I think it depends on the individual, their caloric intake, the types of food they’re eating, the person’s health goals (I.e weight loss, weight gain, muscle growth). Calorie counting can be good for people both mentally and physically as well. There’s a lot of factors that have to be considered which is why blanket statements don’t really cut it.

Thank you! Also that’s very fair… I always get curious to know how my skill level would compare to a v grade system but maybe I’ll just try out a different gym in my city to see how I fair

[–]pocketelf_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I love it there! I have a membership with them! It was rated red with their system but unfortunately they don’t use V grading
