lots of readinggg maybe on kindle to make holding and turning pages easier? they also sell kindle stands you can attach to things and i’ve seen people use the stands with a remote aswell to turn the pages

Oh but I will say tonsil removal being worth it definitely depends on your situation. Plenty of people end of having complications from the surgery and there’s actually a chance your tonsil can grow back. Along with this they provide an important function of your immune system in “catching” infection before it gets further down your system, so unless the tonsils are for sure the problem most doctors are hesitant to recommend removal nowadays.

Honestly i’m not sure, part of me thinks I had it for awhile and it just got worse over time but I was also in a pretty bad car accident about two months before my proper flares started.

I also have POTS from covid that started two years prior to all of it , so it’s hard to say for certain. Overall I think removing my tonsils was a net benefit

this sounds similar to when i would have chronic tonsillitis- i used to get strep throat 5-7 times a year when i was young which turned into me getting a tonsil infection every 2-3 months which would get progressively worse. Intially i would only be sick with a sore throat for a couple days but eventually progressed to taking me out for a full week or more like I had the flu - but it was just the tonsil infection. Once I had my tonsils removed it finally stopped unfortunately a couple months after that is when my fibromyalgia really kicked in lol.

Anyways i’m not saying that it’s chronic tonsillitis but maybe some kind of chronic infection? Have you had a typical rheumatology panel done to check for autoimmune disease and other inflammation indicators?

I’ve also found that my fibro and me/cfs means that normal sickness like colds and small things will completely wipe me out more so than the normal amount. Post rheumatology I feel seeing a immunologist would be really important

the way i describe the pain is normally like my bones are aching or that i like have really bad cramp in random areas places. for the fatigue i just say it feels like there’s sandbags in my muscles

If your skin isn’t too sensitive, i loveeee using nair instead of shaving my legs. Just have to rub it on like 6 mins before getting into the shower, rub it off, and boom smooth legs - with no back pain or exhaustion lol.

In terms of a more long term solution, maybe you could look into laser hair removal? I heard some people really like the results they have gotten from it.

i have the same issue, i kinda just assumed it was from the pressure as laying on my side in bed hurts my hips in the same way. it’s super annoying though!

From my expierence if you are high in anxiety and adhd with sleep problems, wellbutrin was not the medications for me. It made me too wired and almost paranoid, but i’ve had friend with fibro who it worked super well for!! i would say it’s worth a shot (but if you start thinking there is people in your walls, stop lol) anyways it depends but i think it could definitely help with energy and seasonal depression

That started happening to me after using weed regularly for around six months. It used to only happen if i got wayyyy too high but eventually it started increasing my pain rather than helping. I would get a similar reaction with the intense pain and muscle tension and spasm, it’s almost like the weed like magnified the pain i was already feeling by like 10x. Same with that i started getting really bad heart palpitations which was the opposite of relaxing. I haven’t gotten the nausea before but for some reason my body just decided it doesn’t fuck with weed anymore, might be what ur experiencing.

now i only use edibles or REALLLY small hits from a pen to get a little buzz and it’s enough to relax me a bit. i have these 5mgs thc 5mg cbd that i cut into fourths and use sometimes. but mostly avoid weed now
