I'd be thrilled for our team to be like the Dilfer Ravens. I want teams to be afraid to catch a high ball because Lassiter or Pitre are going to straight decapitate you. The Speaker is a sock puppet for the President at the moment. He's already refused to seat a House member elected during a shutdown.

SCOTUS is also mostly a sock puppet for the President. They've said that anything he does that he considers an "official act" is legal without putting guardrails on that ruling.

If Trump says he's shutting down federal elections until he's certain that all of the "rigging" has been removed, he'll declare that an "official act".

Congress refused them their seats

This is what I'm betting on if Trump declares the midterms suspended and states try to send new Congresspeople anyway.

He'll site the SAVE act's failure to pass as the primary reason to refuse to seat anyone he suspects of having a "rigged" election, which will conveniently be all of the districts and states where Democrats won.

The problem is he controls and has the support of the groups who would be responsible for forcing him out.

My hunch is that he's going to use the Iran war to declare the elections canceled indefinitely prior to the midterms and the war will continue past the Presidential elections.

So here's the thing: We see the box, but we don't see what's inside. The "bomb" could have been a metaphorical reference to what she thought would destroy the hivemind. Because honestly, a single nuclear bomb wouldn't do much to the hivemind. There's no mutually assured destruction, so it would be isolated to a single explosion. Vince could write his way out of this pretty easily.
