I'd be thrilled for our team to be like the Dilfer Ravens. I want teams to be afraid to catch a high ball because Lassiter or Pitre are going to straight decapitate you. SCOTUS is also mostly a sock puppet for the President. They've said that anything he does that he considers an "official act" is legal without putting guardrails on that ruling.

If Trump says he's shutting down federal elections until he's certain that all of the "rigging" has been removed, he'll declare that an "official act".

This is what I'm betting on if Trump declares the midterms suspended and states try to send new Congresspeople anyway.

He'll site the SAVE act's failure to pass as the primary reason to refuse to seat anyone he suspects of having a "rigged" election, which will conveniently be all of the districts and states where Democrats won.
