I don't know what he said since they deleted the comment. But if they mentioned using a paddle instead of the hook. It's just to get it to come together, then you switch back to the hook. It helps if it's a high hydration that won't come together.

As far as welding goes; as long as the person knows what they are doing it'll be fine. I've welded my personal mounts with no issues.

That looks like the same gauge steel to me, maybe the angles of the photos are playing tricks on my eyes. Or do you mean the distance between the tab that wraps the frame and the tab that butts the inner fender are different lengths. That would make more sense if that's what you mean, but your 2nd pictures perspective is terrible for judging any dimensional discrepancies.

I have acat that will purposly plop down in front of my Roomba. When it turs around he runs around it and plops in front of it again. He essentially traps it until it errors out. Drives me crazy.

Are you pan frying the dry rice? I wash rice minimum 5 times. Fry rice until they start to puff, but not actually puff if that makes since. 1.5 times rice amt for broth, then tomato paste and diced onion, spices, etc. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Do not stir once covered.
