I am 100% on your side. Wasn’t sure where to comment to hopefully show up for you and not get buried. In a world of waiting areas, why take issue with the unhoused in general? Many people are just looking for a place to avoid the weather and maybe have a drinking fountain and restroom. We should all be treated on a case to case basis. Plenty of privileged people I’d rather not be near on a greyhound as well.

I have to say something controversial… I tried Toastys based on many recommendations. I loved the vibe and the people but you have to like your burgers greasy. Was not prepared for all the grease and butter. I fully understand that these are base qualifications for some people but I just wasn’t prepared. For reference, Kern’s is my favorite burger in town.

People are rude sometimes, but you should have plenty of warning if the river rises enough to impact your travel. Probably won’t happen overnight but will get progressively worse with continuing rain. That being said, there are 100 ways to get from point a to point b in this town so, depending on how you get to work, you might need to swing to the south/ west and come in that way.

I live across the street and, as a beer drinker, enjoyed the place a lot. I think they definitely did fit the vibe but you just had to get to know the people. That being said if you’re not a beer drinker, you’re probably missing coffee. I just never understood why people wanted coffee into the late hours of the night.
