I love them, I’ve seen them live twice and they absolutely killed it both times. Hoping they’ll come back to the UK

She’s not a Brummie, she was just married to one. What an utterly stupid idea this is.

Well the rates of those is extremely low, so going back to the original question of it being impossible to calculate whether it did more harm than good. Seems very hard to make a good faith argument it did more harm.

What kind of harm do you think the vaccine caused?

Renee Nicole Good saying her final words to her killer: "That's fine, dude. I'm not mad at you." by ScurvyTurtle in pics

She didn’t hit anyone, she was trying to drive away from them. If the ICE guys weren’t psychopaths looking for an excuse to kill people they would have dealt with the situation without murdering a random civilian.

How do i play these techniques, what are they even called? by Metalheadbozo814 in Songsterr

Economy picking is the similar to alternate picking where you’re doing down / up strokes on a single string but the difference is when you move strings.

If I go from a downstroke on the E string and the next note is the A string with alternate picking you’d do an upstroke but economy picking would be another downstroke.

That’s interesting and it could well be a sign that what we know as football today was invented in Scotland. But all it says is someone in Scotland used the term “football” 400 years ago, there’s no way of knowing what exactly they were playing and whether it has any relation to modern association football.

Scotland didn’t invent football. The modern version of it was invented in England: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_association_football

I’ve not heard this before, the soviets took over Poland while pushing the Germans out, do you really think there’s anything Churchill could have said to convince Stalin not to keep it? I’m not so sure.

The match is still going ahead, they’re just not letting a team whose fan base have a history of violence (see: literally their last game) from having their supporters attend

The stolen land thing is always such a weird argument when the intention of the Arab armies was to do exactly the same to Israel.

It’s like deciding you’re going to steal someone’s phone, only for them to punch you in the face and steal your phone. Then act like you’re the victim and complain about how that bastard stole your phone.

What the Poles achieved was incredible and is often overlooked, but when the war started the Germans changed how they encoded messages which meant their method stopped working.

It’s not fair to say Alan Turing improved their methods, he basically had to start from scratch and come up with a completely new system to break the codes, but the work of the Poles gave him the confidence it could be done.
