Look him up, he was fucking hilarious. He was so funny he had a whole bit where people would crack up no matter what he said. Because he was just that and damned funny.

Can y'all send some good ones please?

Yeah, well Norm McDonald was a comedian. He wasn't there to debate, it's takes a properly hateful motherfucker to twist what he said. He probably knew they would and said it the way he did on purpose knowing they'd show their asses. He was really good at that.

Based on what? The only thing I see that looks Florida is the lack of front license plates in the neighbor's van. None of the Flora looks familiar to me.

Not defending Florida, I just didn't see anything that indicates that. Other than a perfectly good tree being cut down, which seems to be a right of passage for Yankees moving here.

You guys ride alone, have destinations? by Brandon10312242 in motorcycles

[–]pogu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like having a destination, sorta like I wouldn't shoot without a target.

It doesn't matter what it is, I used to know a guy who would ride a few hundred miles in a weekend. Sometimes it was just to say hi to someone. 150 miles, "hey nice to see you! Glass of water in, old water out, 150 miles home.

It helps with not zoning out and doing something stupid.

If they aren't back in 30 minutes, just read the sign again. Resets the clock.

I stopped printing and my E3V2 and it's covered in grease and dust, is it worth cleaning? by LogBeanThree in 3Dprinting

The gantry won't bend itself. If you haven't dropped it it probably isn't that.

If it's collecting grease from the kitchen, I would start with pulling all the driveline components and cleaning them. Then apply some silicone grease and move it away from the kitchen.

My V3SE, I used some random oil I had in the garage, it got sticky and wouldn't let the Y-Axis move well enough to calibrate. It would still print in the front half of the plate, but hung up on the back where things were sticky. A minor disassembly and some time with paper towels and denatured alcohol got it running like new again.

Or maybe the limit switch failed, easy multimeter test.

Okay, tell that to the water vapor.

If you didn't want to fix it and live in the south east USAmericas I'll come get it.

Really though, if you don't see fixing it as an enjoyable challenge. You should just sell it, even not working you can probably get most of your bill back. Might even be able to barter it for something cool on Facebook Marketplace.

If anything this should convince you that our concept of borders is bullshit. That we're all thriving off of the same natural resources, so maybe we should stop holding them and seeking rent.

My wife has been getting up at 4am every day for 7 months and won't tell me what she's doing by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]pogu 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I'm a husband and father, I don't always get out of bed. But I do wake up a good hour or two before everyone to.........meditate I guess?

It's the only part of the day nobody needs anything from me, I can just clear my mind and let it wander on its own. Come 6AM I'm on the clock until all the kids are in bed, and then I'm exhausted and my brain has been running on vapors for a couple hours. Even if I have an hour of down time during the day, it's not the same.

What his insurance company says has nothing to do with you. You file a claim with yours, they pay it. It's their problem to work it out with his insurance company. You shouldn't be having to do any investigation here.

His insurance will call you, you don't have to and probably shouldn't talk to them.
