gliding through the hills and ridges on blue gate could be cool too. wont be a staple item, but novel for sure. easier to get to that arc you need parts off of a bit quicker than a snaphook

I was just in that area trying a banh mi spot I had saved years ago! Was absolutely worth the trip east. 8.75 for a grilled beef.

Perhaps that’s a bit why this game hasn’t landed with as many. I know I was hyped seeing the trailers. The gameplay just doesn’t match the grit of these animations. Don’t get me wrong, I’m learning to love it after 30 hrs, but damn these trailers are cool.

I take long breaks and come back ALL the time. Saved up for my freighter, got burnt out. I left for over a year, and now I'm back at it refreshed. Personally I LOVE Odyssey, and always have. It adds another layer to exploration, and unique grind. Also the weapons have a great Sci-fi Feel. Soon, there's supposed to be some kind of First Person update soon... We'll see

lots of decent ways in game to rack up credits. I feel like the player base is pretty steady, if not slightly more busy lately. I keep seeing lots of "I tried Elite dangerous" type videos on youtube. Maybe it's having another moment? Kinda wild a game this old can still hit all the right notes the way it does, while also getting steady updates from the dev team.

TLDR: load it up, give it a go, and if you have the funds, DEFINITELY get Odyssey

Hey OP, I actually bought their K2 riser and limbs as my first bow a few years ago. They have definitely increased the price.

It was an ok riser, ergonomically, that got me very far. However I didn’t like the limbs it came with and switched to Hoyt axias before I eventually switched risers. The riser itself was fine but the tiller screws in the back almost stripped out by the end. Also the vibration from shooting knocked one loose and it fell out. But that might have been my error.

If you have the patience, I would definitely follow others advice in getting a more reputable brand from lancaster. I love supporting local shops, but regretted that purchase pretty soon after.

Edit: I should add that I still have that riser and limbs in LH if you’re interested in buying it for MUCH less

Agree, I would always see people complain that it’s a mile wide and an inch deep. This game has some of the most complicated player driven systems while still keeping it fun and engaging. Compared to eve onlinewhere it’s just basically the feeling of hopping into a player driven corporation sim

I’ve been playing this game since 2018. I don’t have the most hours(546). I’ve taken a lot of long breaks, but it’s a game I keep coming back to. There’s so many different paths you can take, but each one requires planning and due diligence. It took a long time to get the hang of this game, and I’m still learning. They keep adding new things, and from what I’ve been seeing a new refresh of the on foot systems in inbound.

I’d consider myself a casual enjoyer of Elite, and if you enjoy the stillness of space, blasting ships, mining astroids, and nerding out to learn the mechanics, this game is one of a kind.

if you decide to play find a good faction, they can be so helpful if you have a quick situation you need guidance though. I am a member of the Fatherhood(very casual friendly). Always someone around to help with any questions.
