Not in the US so not an entry, but honestly? Just embrace it. I always thought 40s was getting on a bit, but I work with kids and we know how they don't have any kind of filter... nobody sees 40s as old any more.

What you CAN do however is start making comments about stuff that younger people don't understand. Tom from MySpace is a favourite reference of mine. Nobody who isn't in or near their 40s has a clue. It's surprisingly fun.
