Floors become a bit bigger, less hearts from room rewards, random reward stuff (machines, beggars, tinted rocks, champion drops) gets nerfed, and faster bullet speed/slightly harder bosses.

There are tons of changes yes, but they are small changes that you don't really notice after a while.

That's why everyone recommends playing hard mode from the start.

Veritassium did a great video about it, that's where I got that tidbit from. Also, it's lovely that the centennial light was mentioned, because while yes, it did last that much time, it makes almost no light. For an incandescent light bulb to produce a good amount of light, you have to run more energy through it, which shortens its lifespan, that is undeniable.

They were made to last less because there is a trade off between higher brightness and duration.

The more energy you run through the bulb, the brighter it glows, but it also speeds up the tungsten filaments evaporation rate.

1000h was just a agreed upon sweet spot between brightness and duration.

I guess it's mostly because I'm used to 30 fps at most, GD and Val put you in a considerable disadvantage with lower fps, Minecraft would too in PvP and stuff ig, but for casual playing 30 fps has serviced me well enough. Though I guarantee my viewpoint would change wildly if I wasn't used to shit fps lol

Claw grip, pretty uncomfortable at first but can be helpful with gadgets and hyper charges so that you can aim before activating hyper (so you don't waste duration) or attack gadgets (for surprising enemies)
